Change portfolio graphs to ensure color contrast
Change the Derby Portfolio graphs to ensure that there is sufficient color contrast. Most of the portfolios are OK but a few are not. I realize that the user can change the color, but providing sufficient contrast would help.

When creating a portfolio from a Derby it should reflect current price NOT opening price
When you create a portfolio from a Derby, it uses the opening price as the purchase price, it should use the price when you actually create the portfolio.

Derby - Change From Top 10 Stocks to Top 5 Stocks
When back testing a strategy, VV is now recommending the top 5 stocks for incredible returns. By changing the Derby to represent the top 5 stocks, this will provide faster visibility for all the Derby options: Day Trading, Buy and Hold, Vary the Start Date, etc.

Allow search criterion for daily volume to be able to be increased for higher volume traders.
Your standard searches use 100000 shares average as the volume criterion. I trade a significantly larger portfolio than $100,000. For example trading $1.5 M portfolio, looking to buy 20 stocks would have a buy order of $75,000 for each stock. However many of your searches have stock price criterion of >$1. That means I could be placing orders for 75% of the daily volume or on the selling side be trying to sell 75% of the average daily volume. Either would cause a major disruption to the price. An improvement would be able to change the criterion for both the…

What stocks?
In some derbys, I click on the derby and it shows me the efficiency or the graph but not what stocks are in that particular derby. Finding the stocks that are in that derby are a pain. Why can't they all just show the stocks and the graph next to it like others?

Allow moving averages on the DTI on both the up and down numbers. Would make a great stop for getting out of Derby portfolios.
If I could add a moving average to each of the two DTI lines, I could use that as a crossover stop to exit my Derby portfolios. When a line gets above 1.20 and goes substantially higher like 1.60, it might move up or down from there. A moving average would allow the raw number to fluctuate but below some moving average, it might mean the best of the day's trend is over.
Another use might be as an indicator to tighten stops or take some money off the table. For instance, let's say its an up day and the…

Spread Sheet Derby views
In spread sheet view, fields such as # stocks, % winners, % G/L and others like this, it would be nice (could show more on screen - important when sizing windows) if the fielsd sizes could be reduced. This would cause the header to go to a coule of lines but you could see more on a small screen.

DERBY - In "Split View"
In Split View, Bullish/Bearish plays are both visible; Once I've narrowed my columns, columns should remain narrow so that I can see all data without having to horizontally scroll. When I refresh the screen I should be able to see ALL the columns without having to scroll.

In Derby stock display: Allow columns to be configurable like in other lists
Would love to see volume and may be other parameters in Derby stock list. Why not make it configurable like other lists?

Add VV Rating (B,H,S) when you open a search to view stocks in the search.
There is room to the right of ROI for buy/sell/hold color. This would be very important as I cherry pick and will not buy a sell rated equity. Now I have to open stock analysis for each stock 1 at a time.

Add Derby Option for Free For Real-Time Users of 2+ Years!! Loyalty Pays!!
Anyone who has been a loyal subscriber for a period of 2+ years should begin to be rewarded. I have looked at other options in lieu of VV and have come upon some ideas that may be better suited and less expensive. How about rewarding loyalty??

Allow us to select an intraday time for the Derby Entry Price (not just Market Open & Previous Close)
The Derby is great for seeing which searches are moving off of the Market Open but it is difficult to see which searches are moving the most during intraday reversals unless you click on each search. For example, the hottest search over the past hour might be in the middle of the Derby if it was down earlier in the day. If you were able to select a specific time in the Entry Price, you would be able to see which searches are moving lately (over the past 1 hour, 2 hours ,etc.).

When looking at the split view in the Derby it is time consuming to shrink the column widths in order to see the critical data.
When looking at the split view in the Derby it is time consuming to shrink the column widths in order to see the critical data.
Could you fix the widths of the:
Type, #s, %Win, %G, 5 Day G and L. This will enable one to see the data to make a decision without having to tamper with the columns to make them fit the screen. A real time saver in the critical decision making.
Why not have an option of seeing all the Mini graphs (or a SELECTED TOP 10) earnings charts without having to open each Derby title.

Show how many times a stock is mentioned in all the Derby lists i.e. TOO (8)TK(4)
When a Derby stock is shown across multiple Derby platforms, is there any chance of showing a number beside that stock that would indicate how many times it appears in various Derby listings. Or could this be tested to see if it's a parameter that would help illuminate some potential winners.
And I have a name for it: "Marty's Mentionables". Thanks! Marty1 vote
