  3. A candle wick is the same thickness as the grid line and date line. When a candle coincides with a grid line or date line, the wicks disappear. The result is that HIGH and LOW visual information is lost. This is particulary troublesome for short timescales.

  4. Post FUTURE EARNINGS dates on graph and elsewhere. The newest VV update adds past earnings dates but future earnings dates (as is done in Options Pro) would be more helpful.

  5. Either make it easier to stop on a specific price showing when sliding a horizontal line up and down on a graph or allow a specific price to be entered. It is virtually impossible to stop on the exact price I want. Even though it's difficult to stop on the exact price you want, ironically the number shown has 4 decimal points.

  6. I would like to be able to draw a line on the graph and see the dollar value of the starting point, the dollar value of the end point, and the price increase and percentage price increase. This benefits in two ways: (1) So I can easily pick between two stocks which has the stronger up-move, and (2) If I want to see where the stocks price is at a certain profit target I can draw the line and see both where 15% profit is and know that is at $40.00 (example). See attached file for the example.

  7. Adding moving averages to VV7 graphs is not intuitive. It should be easily discernable in the "Add Parameter' drop down menu but it is not. I deleted the one default and could not easily determine how to add it back. There is not one charting program or on-line charting site that makes it difficult to add, customize, remove, moving averages. It's a basic concept and tool. It does not reflect well for me to suggest VV7 is a premium program then have to be cuffed by limiting such a basic tool and it not be intuitive on it's use. Please…

  8. Add a "View Stock Analysis" button to graphs. This would make it quick and easy to learn more about a company with which I am not familiar.

  12. Add a ($) price change and a price percent (%) change parameter to the Market Timing Layout. Most other stock charting/graphing tools have these necessary parameters available for use. That way the strength of the VVC could be additionally.assessed.

  13. The following is from bullishbears.com:

The VWAP trading strategy is a common indicator traders use. VWAP stands for volume weighted average price. It’s used for short term trading. It’s a highly efficient and simple method.

Traders use it as support and resistance in a short time frame. You use it to assess the direction or trend of the stock. VWAP is calculated by adding up the dollar amount traded for every trade transaction (price multiplied by number of shares traded) and then dividing by the total shares traded for the day.

VWAP trading strategy is commonly applied by traders on…

  15. Permanently save a horizonal line (e.g. 70 for RSI or 20 for stochastics) on a custom graph. Currently you need to add manually for every stock. Suggest adding as option for "add parameter" on RSI (30,70) and stochastic oscillator (20,80)

  17. Draw Tool - % Gain between dates

on any graph, have a drawing tool option that you can go from one point on the graph to another point (Like two highs) and a pop-up window will show on the graph the % Gain/Loss, $ Gain/Loss, and # of trading days between the two points. this would help in setting profit exits and stop losses set points.

  18. After reading about Focusing/Rotating in several of Dr. DiLiddo’s essays I started trying to track the occurrences by looking at the chart in the timing section of the Views but the process is tedious and limited to the chart’s 15 day window. I would like to see a parameter added to the Timing and Climate graphs that shows an uptick on days when Focusing occurs, a downtick on Rotation days and a neutral move when the %Buys and %Sells move in different directions.
I’ve included an example of a graph of the data from the Oct. 9-10 change though the…

  20. Is it possible to use your massive database and show a 10 year candlestick on any stock with only 12 candles per year? 120 Total candles for a 10 year period. Changing the time frame to monthly instead of weekly would filter some of the volatility and gives a clearer trend indication.
