How can we write the query in Unisearch to See how much any Stock has fallen or Risen from its 52 Week High or If someone wants to Put Stop Loss on Last 10 Day low on Stock. There is no way to get instant result in Unisearch other than looking at Graph individually and look manually to see 10 Day Low.1 vote
Being able to merge a search that I created with an existing VectorVest search2 votes
I have used a strategy in another program with good success. I would look for stocks with rising (or falling) prices and rising volume in the last hour of trading. I would buy the top 1-3 stocks, looking for a gap up (or down) the next day and would exit within the first hour of trading.
I would love to create such a search in VV.1 vote
The ability to export all columns (including Custom Fields) from a Unisearch to Excel is incredibly important. There are several major Use Cases:
1) The ability to quickly prioritize Market Opportunities
2) Perform more advanced regression testing and other forms of analytics
It would also help if it was possible to sort on all columns in a Unisearch including Custom Fields.
I've been with VectorVest since 1998 and it is somewhat embarrassing that this functionality is still not available, especially given the rapid advances in data science and visualization (this is the 21st Century folks :) )1 vote
Ask2 - I want to be able to copy quickly select/delete group of searches into another folder. Need this process to be very efficient - not
Problem 2- I have to copy select / delete set of searches from one folder to another folder. I have to again do this one at a time. Even in excel one can select control key and do this.

Ask1 - I want to be able to run set of my unisearches for given date at same time. or at least say as group of unisearches at a time
Problem1- I have to run my custom unisearches one at a time even on same date. This takes lot of time doing one at a time even though date is same.

It is needed for the EMA 5/8/13 squeeze search.1 vote
There has been numerous presentation of price rebound from 20 MA. With 20 MA inclusion will allow user to find stocks at 20 MA faster1 vote
add 2 columns
1 let user select intraday, end of day, end of week or weekly data (just like on graphs)
2 let user select intervals 1M, 2M, 3M, 6M, 1Y,5Y (just like on graphs)
This would make Unisearch 10X more powerful and here's how. Go to graphs and select layout GLB/RT Kicker and choose 5Year chart. Try a few different symbols and see if you notice any patterns when RT10ma crosses RT15ma. It's a killer!
Would be nice for Unisearch to find those for us vs. manually hunting for them.2 votes
allow market condition as part of Unisearch, i.e. SPX > 100 or 200 MA then, filter for stocks matching other unisearch criteria
If the market trend is turning, allow a market parameter in the search. i.e. MTI, BSR or Index price above or below MA values. Insures that you will not trade if the market direction is in conflict with the basic search criteria. Of great value when backtesting to restrict positions when the market trend is changing, either before or after market call conditions.1 vote
I want to make a unisearch and use the selection
rsi2 < 10
actual price < MA5
actual price > MA200
I can't find RSI2, MA5 and MA200 in the unisearch.
I can put this in a graph, but in that case it takes too much time to find stocks that fits in the querie1 vote
Unisearch, allows for time scales within many searches which are very restrictive. I would like that all ‘times’ should be custom defined; by days, months, and years as well as unlimited number of days.
I note that a number of Users have posted similar requests.
I originally sent this request to Support. After very useful discussions with Manuel Faial, on another problem, he asked me to submit this request formally.1 vote

I think Midas Touch searches are excellent and can be improved as follows
Create a search that selects stocks from MT watchlist where the MA(RT) 10 is above the MA(RT) 401 vote
in Unisearch there shoud be a column to the right of Parameters showing the number of stocks that meet this criteria and all criteria
in Unisearch there shoud be a column to the right of Parameters showing the number of stocks that meet this criteria and a second column showing the number of stocks meeting all the above criteria
ie first criteria 1000 stocks 1000 stocks
second criteria 1100 stocks 600 stocks
third criteria 400 stocks 50 stocks
forth criteria 800 stocks 30 stocks1 vote
When trying to find a search by its name, there is no function allowing one to search for a particular Search. Under the Views tab on the left there is a "Text to Search for:" function. Please put a "Search to search for:" function under the UniSearch tab. One does not know in which yellow folder each and every search is found, when one has the Search name but does not know where to find it in UniSearch.

The Ruler Stocks search in the Canadian Vectorvest UniSearch only has three stocks that meet the criteria of RS => 1.4. Please lower the parameter value to RS => 1.2 in order to be able to review additional stocks that meet that search criteria. Please advise and thanks in advance. Gary1 vote
