RT Kicker concept applies to Stock Searches
Since the RT Kicker works so well with improving the timing of the market. Why not enable Unisearch so we can run RT moving average searches with our stock strategies to improve the stocks being selected.

Using ADX Trending and DI Xovers
When working with ADX I would like to be able to add ADX Trending. I can add ADX cross over but not trending. Also the +DI(14) cross over
-DI(14) works well in the US data base but is inaccurate in the Canadian data base.2 votes -
How do I calculate the 5 and 25 day MA for RT per stock in Unisearch to implement the RT Kicker Combo?
I want to be able to calculate the RT MAs for a stock. I can then create a custom field to determine the crossover by stock without looking on a graph? How do I do that.

remember column widths
remember the column widths that I've made narrower (or wider). Today they're not even remembered during a sessions - ie if a do a search, make the columns narrower (because there width is for the column heading and not the data) to see more columns, then click search again, the column widths that I've set are not remembered and I have to make them narrower again.
To remember the column widths with the search would be idea - then I would have to set column widths only once.

sort data by clicking on column heading
right now, vv7 says it can't sort the data when you check on a column heading (unlike vv6).
have it sort the data of any column when the user clicks on the column heading, including calculated columns. Only the data in the table need be sorted - it can be done in the vv7 client on the user's machine and doesn't need to be done on the server.

Create the capability for unisearch to select "x" number of shares in "x" number of industries, same as in Backtester or Portfolio Manager
Allow Unisearch to select a fixed number of stocks in a fixed number of industries as backtester and portfolio manager currently do. For example, in the search "top stocks in top industries" the sort currently will pick to top stocks but will not limit the number to each industry. So when creating a portfolio, one must sort down thru many many stocks manualy to create a diversified portfolio.

Enable unisearch criteria to include VVC price, VVC RT and VVC value simple andweighted moving averages.
The SOTW for 8-10-2012 "Improving the Green Light Buyer with an RT Kicker." introduces using VVC RT simple moving average crossover requirement to determine if a green light is valid to buy stocks.
This is akin to what I have been studying using VVC Price moving averages to tell when to use the C/Up signals and when to ignore them.
For example in down markets it seems to make great sense to ignore a C/Up when the VVC Price 160 day MA is trending down until it begins recovering.
Also it seems valid to wait until the VVC Price 45…5 votes -
Include "stock symbol" as a search key.
Include "stock symbol" as a search key. This would be very useful both as an include or an exclude, especially in backtesting.

Allow Saved Searches to be used as a search parameter in a search
When building searches in Unisearch, sometimes you want to create a search that uses search parameters found in other searches. Rather than having to copy those parameters into the new search it would be useful to be able to include that search as a parameter in the new search.
The Parameter would be "saved search"
The operator would be = or <>
The value would the name of the searchThis would permit the ability to combine targeted searches. For example, you could create a search looking for growth stocks and a search looking for value stocks. Creating a search…

Improve Unisearch Printing
1) Enable a user to print only "selected stocks" highlighted in a
Unisearch run.
2) On the printout of a Unisearch run, the DATE OF THE RUN should
be included after the search name and ascending/descending

Create a UniSearch parameter for Fibonacci retracement, allowing the user to select minimum and maximum percentages to search the database
A parameter in UniSearch that allows a user to play with the percentages to set various retracement levels would be an awesome search tool. Imagine bringing up a group of stocks at the 50% Fib retracement after a market pullback. This would be powerful and add value to the VectorVest product.

searching
i use certain fields as part of my parameters but i don't necessarily need to see them on the result of the search. can i box be checked off to not display value of that field. this would clean up the results and make it easier to view without having to squash fields each time i run search

Add the Market Timing Gauge reading as a search parameter
If I want to build a short or long search and backtest it, obviously I would not want to short into an up call, nor would I wish to be long during a down call. could there be a way to essentially filter out picks when the scan is opposite the market direction? It would be critical during longer term backtests.

Please modify the search in ProTrader to include RSI(2) in the drop-list of RSI's we can search for.
Please add RSI(2) to the drop-down list of of RSI values we can search for in ProTraded. If you do this, I will ante-up the $495 you are asking for this feature for this feature. Thanks.
