Unisearch quick list definitions (comments)
Since there are so many available, it would be nice to be able to create a listing of the searches with the comments explaining what they are searching for. As a new user it may take me a long time to go through and read these one by one if I have to click on each one. With a listing I could make a quick decision on which ones I may be helpful for my style of investing and or the current market conditions. Then I could simply print the list and high light which ones I wanted to use.

Midas Touch
Sirs
I am a subscriber to Vector Hong Kong and have been impressed with the unisearch item “midas touch”. I understand that extensive trials were carried out before putting this out to the public in the USA and Canada versions. My question is that what works for one region may not be optimised for another region and I would like to tinker with the three criteria MA Stop(10), MA Stop(65) and MA RT(40) to see if it can be improved for use in Hong Kong.
Using the custom field builder I can change these criteria but I cannot find a…

After Unisearch extracts a selection of stocks it would be nice to have the total amount of stocks pulled on a screen (as it was in Ver.6)
Please make total number of stocks available on the screen in UniSearch area, exactly as it used to be in your version 6. Lack of this feature is very inconvenient, as it involves manual count.

Some searches developed using VV6 give different results using VV7.
For example, the Unisearch "Sector Peak-Short" uses "Top 10 Sectors by RT" in VV7, which often gives different results than the same Unisearch using "Highest 10 Sectors by RT" in VV6.

Identify stocks by country on watchlists and searches
I want to eliminate stocks from certain countries in searches and to identify stocks by country in watchlists. A Chinese company might have a P/E of 7 where an American company with otherwise similar fundamentals might have a P/E of 18. There is no easy way I know of to tell in VV what country a stock is from. JASO, for example, is not identified as a Chinese company in the full stock write-up. American and Chinese stocks, for example, are apples and oranges. They should be easily separated in searches, along with other countries (Russian stocks).

Add RSI to data base as a searchable field
Add RSI to database as a searchable field for specific values.
The RSI crossover is helpful but not as useful as searching for a specific RSI value.4 votes -

Change the "average values" in the quick test in UNISEARCH to properly reflect the portfolio performance.
The bottom line in the quick test summary is literally the average of the columns. The averages of the % changes and % annual return are meaningless. What should be shown in this row is the % and annual changes of the average of the selected stocks. This is the accurate representation of the performance of the portfolio of the tested stocks. This is very different than the averages actually calculated.

can we create a crossover in the operator section
I am trying to create a search to help find the crossing of the 10DayMA(stop price) and the 65dayMA (stop price). You can only use the crossover operator in Pro Trader currently which does not support the MA stop price formulas. Is there a way to create a crossover operator in the normal operator section? Look forward to your help.
Thanks

DPO crossover for Industry or Sector in Unisearch
Unisearch does not allow use of DPO Crossover above / below zero as search parameter when using Industry / Sector Price. Protrader parameter is not available in the operator column. My research suggests if you buy top 3 stocks within the industry when Industry DPO crosses above zero, you could easily pocket 12 to 15 percent profit in a month. Availability of DPO in Operator Column for Industry / Sector search would be very helpful.

Add this bit of information in your tables.
I believe it is important for a user to know the date when any given stock that appears today on any of your prebuilt search screens was first added to this screen. This would help a user to know how old in the tooth that trend is for that particular stock and make his decision whether or not to invest in that stock. At present, it seems there is no way of getting this info. You may consider adding a column in the tables to exhibit this date for each stock.
