  3. Insdustry/Sector coverage in Australia is not as deep as it is in the USA. For example there is no Gold Mining or Metals & Minerals in industry or sector viewer only Materials. Seaches like Stalwarts would benefit from greater Industry/Sector Depth/Coverage.

Please consider taking a feed of GICS classifications for the ASX http://www.asx.com.au/products/gics.htm & http://www.investors.asn.au/education/shares/understanding-shares/asx-sectors/

  5. There are maybe over 200 strategies in Unisearch. When these are referred to in Derby or SOTW etc., it is so frustrating and time consuming to locate them under the correct folder in Unisearch. In addition there are some strategies in Derby that do not appear to be in Unisearch. Some users have suggested either a Search button or an additional "Folder" column in Derby. I would like instead that Vector Vest prepares an Excel or pdf format table. The first column would be the Name of the Strategy, the second column, the appropriate Folder in Unisearch, the third column will…

  8. On unisearch lists, viewer lists, portfolio lists, etc., add the ability to see a definition of an abbreviation when hovering over it: RV, RS, RT, VST, etc.. As a newbie, I don't remember them all, or I have to go fish.

  9. This will open up more opportunity for intra day and real time trading by allowing a search to identify intra day crossovers on smaller increments of time.

  10. I would like to find stocks that are a specific percent near their 20 day moving average. When parameter is 20 day MA, delta not available.

I tried an alternate method by adding a percent in custom field builder and it does not allow. for e.g. if my custom field is 20 day MA (price), we cannot do below

    20 day MA (price) + .05 (20 day MA(price))

I called customer service and was told this cannot be done and they suggested to add this to improvement section

Please consider this request. Most stocks react very well when they approach…

  11. how to pick the best stock within A industry? In feb22 SOW, 2 stocks:CP and CNR from transportation industry. How to use unisearch to limit only one stock per each top industry? I had discussed this request with your staff on Feb 28th and did not get an anwser. Also, I would like to use unisearch to list just top industries without using the industry viewer.

    Thanks!

  12. Hello,
I am thinking of upgrading to the pro trader add on and would like to know if one of my own scanning criteria can be programmed into Pro trader.
I currently use another program to do this.

    The scan I use is:
    Weekly bars.
    40 period simple moving average.
Scan done at the end of the week only.

The scan seeks to identify those stocks where:-
The weekly closing price is above a rising 40 period moving average
The closing price is the highest price that the stock has traded in the last 12 weeks
    A minimum volume variable.

  14. I believe it will be a great improvement to create a new folder in uni search tab to screen for rising stocks in rising industries/sectors. The search for stocks could use the same criteria as done currently for rising industries in uni search folder. Don't forget to add falling stocks in falling industries also.

  16. 2 requests for UniSearch:
(1.) the parameter "Stock RT" has "Trending" as one of its operators.
I'd like to have the parameter "Stock 10 day MA(RT)" ALSO

includes "Trending" as one of its operators.
(2.) the parameter "stock price (split adjusted)" has "ProTrader"
as one of its operators. I'd like to have the parameter
"stock RT (Relative Timing)" ALSO includes "ProTrader"
    as one of its operators.

  17. Use a consistent naming pattern for moving averages in the VectorVest Fields group.

    Currently, there are two patterns:
    CI ## Day MA
    ## Day MA(RT)

I personally like the CI naming pattern, because the field would be clustered with other fields using the same base measure.

  18. Modifying the candlestick search categories to include bullish and bearish candlestick "kicker" signals would be of great benefit. A 'kicker signal can occur anywhere in the price pattern and represents a complete reversal of sentiment (bullish or bearish) for a given stock

  19. I wo8uld like to suggest that you modify the candlestick searches to take into account the position of the stock price relative to the 40 SMA. Bullish candlestick signals are much more effective when they take place below the 40 SMA, and bearish candlestick signals are much more effective when they take place above the 40 SMA. Doji signals, conversely, are important at the top or bottom of the pattern. Taking into account these complexities would be of great value to traders.
