I think it is best to use straight forward terms where everybody understands. I was lost in some vector vest presentation quite quickly because the presenter use too many fancy terms as well as macro programming techniques.

Use high contrast colors. Many subscribers are older and may find it difficult to read. ex. light green against white background. Thank you.
