An error occurred while saving the comment Ken Reso commentedProTrader users already have access to these MAs, to support UniSearch crossovers. The values for the set available in the Unisearch crossovers are probably already calculated in the database, before the search is executed (db indexing).
Consider adding a "Display Only" option in the ProTrader "Value" editor for crossovers, as is done for RMA.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ken Reso commentedWork-around is to run to the next-to-last day, issue a "Close All", then run to the last day, removing pending new positions. This method includes the commission, at the Open Price on the end date (one day earlier than VV6 online).
I do this, if I want the final holdings into the trade history. It's only a test, an approximation. Though, the work around is a bit cumbersome.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ken Reso commentedJohn,
I have done this with VV7. It just taked a little getting used to.
Click the top-left cell, hold the SHIFT key, and click the bottom-right cell. If that bottom-right parameter causes a popup menu, just hit ESCape. The entire block of parameter cells is still selected/highlighted.
You must use CTRL-C. There is no VV menu to "copy".
When pasted into MS Word, it pastes as a table. You can then format borders around it, to see it as "cells".
It doesn't bring the sort. I type these manually.
This has saved me a few times, when either I, or VV7, drops parameters from my searches!!!!

An error occurred while saving the comment Ken Reso commentedMy understanding of this is as follows: When building a search/strategy for MTI, such as MTI>1.1, it means "when MTI > 1.1". Also, include it in custom fields, such as "(VST+MTI) < 4.0".

Allowing OBV to be configured to some number of periods, OBV[1], would be useful. I think it would also solve the objective of the histogram (OBV[1]).
Changes for OBV[10] could be seen more easily, without being flattended by the magnitide of price/volume changes that took place 3-6 months prior.
