   I second that opinion, I find it critical that the SMS Alerts for U.S. Market are limited to the American Carriers.

   I do have an American Number using Twilio to forward my alerts to my phone number. But VV does not seem to allow other carriers.

   I'd check the checkbox "This may incure extra charges/I don't mind the extra fees".
