Charting and look of Beta
I am big fan of VV7 the way it is when you compare to all charting software out there. Why try to change something that is very good to be the same as all the other companies that use TRADINGVIEW. I find that charting and feel of the layout in Vectorvest made it the easiest to use and manipulate. why change it?
Thank you for sharing this, your appreciation for the charting experience in VV7 really comes through, and it means a lot to hear how strongly you value what makes VectorVest unique.
You’re absolutely right that VV7’s charting stands apart, especially in terms of clarity, control, and how naturally it supports technical analysis without feeling overwhelming. That experience is something we’re proud of, and we’re not looking to abandon it.
In the beta web app, some visual and layout changes are intentional to simplify the platform for new users and support a smoother onboarding experience. But you’re not alone: we’ve heard from other long-time users who want to make sure the flexibility and power of VV7-style charting stays intact.
Rest assured—we’re not trying to become TradingView. Our goal is to teach the VectorVest fundamentals with a clean, approachable UI first, and then bring back the advanced features and charting depth you love in future tiers.
We’d love to hear more about the specific tools or chart behaviors in VV7 that are most essential to your workflow, your input directly shapes how and when we reintroduce that power in the web platform.
