Thank you for this feedback, and yes, Robert is on the right track. This first tier is really intended to help users new to VectorVest to learn the system, and to appeal to users who really just want this base level of prudent guidance and doesn't want to dig into deeper data. The next tier, which in currently being designed, will have a home page that will be much more familiar to those who are experienced with VectorVest 7. Feedback like yours will help greatly in building that tier to something that experienced users like you are going to love. It will also be helpful to hear from you about what was most helpful for you when you were a new user. What was most helpful when learning the system and what turned you from a new user into the power user you are today. Thanks!

The capsule-style graphics next to the VV metrics were designed to help newer users quickly grasp the meaning of the 0–2 scale, which is foundational to VectorVest’s proprietary analysis. Similar to the gauges we use elsewhere, they visually reinforce whether a value is weak, average, or strong, especially for users still learning what VST, RV, RS, and RT represent.
That said, we completely understand your point, experienced users benefit more from compact, decimal-aligned tables that allow for quicker visual comparison and scanning. You make a great case for giving users the option to toggle off the visual aids and display only the raw numeric values. We’re exploring ways to make that kind of customization available, particularly as we support users progressing from learning to power-using the system.
Would a toggle or display setting like that work for your workflow? Your input helps us strike the right balance between clarity for new users and efficiency for seasoned ones.

Hey Daniel, thanks so much for your feedback! The app currently matches your operating system's light/dark mode settings. There is an update in the queue to add a toggle into the settings menu inside the hamburger menu in the top right of the layout. Is that where you would expect to find that toggle?

Thanks for the suggestion. We have an internal roadmap, but will work on making a publicly consumable roadmap to clarify where we're heading.

Thanks so much for your feedback, this is an important question, and we appreciate the chance to clarify.
The Beta version you’re seeing represents the Successful Investor tier (name not finalized), which is intentionally focused on helping newer users learn the fundamentals of the VectorVest system. Based on extensive research and experience, we’ve centered this experience around three key pillars:
1. Market Timing – teaching when it’s safe to buy or be defensive, using our proprietary indicators
2. Proprietary Stock Analysis – understanding VST, RV, RS, RT, and how to find the right stocks
3. Stop Prices – knowing when to sell to protect gains and manage risk
To reduce overwhelm and build confidence, many advanced tools and views from VV7 have been intentionally removed or simplified in this tier. That means not everything from VV7 is planned to be reintroduced here, though some features may return in higher tiers or future updates, based on user needs and feedback.
In the meantime, your input is still incredibly helpful. Even if something is “planned,” repeated feedback like yours helps us validate the priority and timing.

We’re currently working on a feature that will let users toggle between minute, daily, and weekly candlesticks. This will give more flexibility for analyzing short- and long-term trends within this tier.
However, the level of granularity you're asking about, like custom timeframes for 2-minute or 5-minute candles, is something we’re reserving for a more advanced, research-focused tier of the app. Those features are best suited for active traders who need intraday precision and a deeper toolkit.
We’d love to know more about how you’d use those specific timeframes in your strategy, it helps us plan the right tools for future tiers. Are you typically scanning for short-term trades, or looking to fine-tune entries on longer-term positions?
