Prioritize charting capabilities and utility
Currently Graphing is not user-friendly and there are no help functions for adding and modifying parameters. Also when adding parameters, the ones that do get added cannot be adjusted so as to provide crossover set ups, period changes and standard deviation variations to match particular trading set ups, entries and exits. Having a Graphing capability similar to the VV 7 App would be a good resolution

Thank you for the feedback.
We agree that charting is a critical part of the VectorVest experience—especially for users who rely on technical setups like crossovers, custom timeframes, or standard deviation-based indicators.
In this first phase, we’ve intentionally limited the graphing tools to reduce complexity and help newer users focus on the fundamentals of our system. But robust charting is absolutely on the roadmap, and your input helps ensure we prioritize the right features—like parameter adjustments, indicator overlays, and customizable setups—in future updates.
Would you be open to sharing which specific strategies or indicators matter most to you? Knowing how you use graphs for entries and exits helps us shape a solution that meets real trading workflows.

Make Advanced market timing signals available on the home page
I'm a fan of all the advanced market timing signals and would appreciate that these are shown on the home page like you have on the mobile app. There is still space in the When to buy banner.

Add AVWAP to parameters
VWAP is useful for day trading / at the start of the data, but not for daily or weekly chart. AVWAP (Anchored Volume Weighted Average Price) is what I use in Trading View for identifying potential buy and sell points. This allows for the VWAP to be anchored to a particular point on the graph and not just the start of the graph. Read the book "Maximizing Trading Gains with Anchored VWAP", The Perfect Combination of Price, Time & Volume by Brian Shannon, CMT. AVWAP settings should also be included, such as open, close, HLC, OHLC/4, etc...

Persist Column Widths
Preserve Column Widths: When selecting a stock to view its graph in the right panel, any previously adjusted column widths in the layout are reset to default. These custom widths should be preserved to maintain a consistent user experience.

Persist Graph Layout Panel Sizes
Graph Size and Layout Persistence. Any manual vertical adjustments made to the graph size—whether for the stock chart or its parameters—are not retained after navigating away from the page. These customized sizes should be saved as part of a user template and automatically applied across all stock graphs.

Exporting and importing functionalities not available
Manually adding positions to Watchlists one at a time is very time consuming. The Import from .csv files functionality is very important.
Exporting all or selected positions from Watchlists and Portfolios to .csv files is absolutely required
These are not improvements as these functionalities exist in the current VectorVest software.

Make Sidebar Graph Fully Functional
Enhanced Graph Viewing for Efficiency: It is highly recommended to display the full-featured graph—including all settings—directly in the right panel. The graph should be resizable, enabling users to efficiently view one stock after another without navigating to a separate Full Graph page and then returning each time.

Heikin Ashi Candles
Heikin Ashi Candles would be a good addition. The Heikin Ashi Strategy works very well with VWAP as it provides a good visual of trending price action. Combined with VWAP a very powerful tool for entering and exiting trades at technically determined set ups with profit and loss targets

Portfolio's Input
Could we add the ability to import individual stocks or entire lists from watchlists, and searches into a portfolio for ease of tracking and use of the Beta system.

Feedback on watchlists
Overall navigation for watchlists works fine with very good performance. Creating a new watchlist and editing existing is very straightforward.
Hereby some suggestions for further optimization of watchlist functionality:
- Would be good to add the functionality to group watchlists in folders
- The view settings of visible watchlists per page gets reset to default every time you navigate away and would be nice if the last selected number of watchlists per page is saved
- When viewing the stocks within a watchlist, the my watchlists pane is visible all the time and consumes space (especially on a small laptop…4 votesThank you for your detailed feedback on the Watchlists experience, this is exactly the kind of insight that helps us prioritize improvements effectively.
We’re glad to hear that creating and editing Watchlists feels intuitive and responsive. That’s a key part of our goal to make core workflows feel effortless, especially for newer users.
Your suggestions for further optimization are all well taken:
- Folder/grouping support is a commonly requested enhancement. We removed it to speed up development time as this tier is intended for users new to VectorVest. We have a solution designed that will be in the next tier, which is intended to be the flagship program, closer to VV7.
- Persisting view settings (like the number of Watchlists per page) is a great quality-of-life improvement—we’ll review this as part of broader session memory efforts.
- The point about the persistent Watchlists pane on small screens is especially helpful. We've heard this…

Thanks for the feedback, it’s great to hear that you're finding value in the included VectorVest Searches. You’re absolutely right that being able to access your own custom searches is important, especially for more experienced users.
In this first tier of the web app, we’ve focused on providing a curated set of searches to help new VectorVest users learn the system more easily. That said, your custom searches will absolutely be available in Tier 2, where we’ll begin reintroducing the full power and flexibility that advanced users like you are used to, including tools already available in the mobile app.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to roll out the full experience. Your feedback helps ensure we bring back the right tools at the right time.
