Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We’ve documented the issue and shared it with our development team for review. Bug reports like yours are incredibly helpful—they help us prioritize fixes and ensure a smoother experience for all users. We appreciate your patience as we continue to refine the platform.

  2. I'm a fan of all the advanced market timing signals and would appreciate that these are shown on the home page like you have on the mobile app. There is still space in the When to buy banner.

  3. The view should remain at full screen instead of reverting to the normal screen. When moving the mouse to go over the gear or X, the size of the EMA 20 Price (Actual) window sometimes changes in size so it's not possible to click on the gear or X. There should also be an option to hide the parameter.

Thank you for this feedback, and yes, Robert is on the right track. This first tier is really intended to help users new to VectorVest to learn the system, and to appeal to users who really just want this base level of prudent guidance and doesn't want to dig into deeper data. The next tier, which in currently being designed, will have a home page that will be much more familiar to those who are experienced with VectorVest 7. Feedback like yours will help greatly in building that tier to something that experienced users like you are going to love. It will also be helpful to hear from you about what was most helpful for you when you were a new user. What was most helpful when learning the system and what turned you from a new user into the power user you are today. Thanks!

  6. I added VWAP to the graph, which was then added to the sidebar. I deleted the VWAP parameter and the sidebar did not update until I clicked on the eye icon for VWAP in the sidebar.

  7. "HEED THE COLOR GUARD" . . . Color guard needs to be on the opening page with values showing. How does the little bar chart on the first page help us to select stocks? It is just history. .....Cute but of no real value. It just takes up space

Thanks for the feedback, it’s great to hear that you're finding value in the included VectorVest Searches. You’re absolutely right that being able to access your own custom searches is important, especially for more experienced users.

In this first tier of the web app, we’ve focused on providing a curated set of searches to help new VectorVest users learn the system more easily. That said, your custom searches will absolutely be available in Tier 2, where we’ll begin reintroducing the full power and flexibility that advanced users like you are used to, including tools already available in the mobile app.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to roll out the full experience. Your feedback helps ensure we bring back the right tools at the right time.

  9. Include the DEW status on it.

Thanks for the great question! Right now, we’ve included a focused set of curated searches in the new platform to help newer users learn the fundamentals of the VectorVest system without feeling overwhelmed. This approach is rooted in our research showing that too many options early on can lead to confusion and hesitation.

That said, we absolutely understand the value of the broader VV7 search library and the power of creating custom searches, especially for experienced investors. We’re planning to bring those capabilities back in the next tier of the web app, designed specifically for users who are ready for more advanced tools and greater flexibility.

  11. Clicking on the searches does not do anything.
To see the details of searches you have to go to Stock Research and then Searches.

Thank you for the feedback Atanee and I agree. All of the information/education that we have currently opening on new tabs will open in a sidebar/drawer or a tooltip. This update is coming soon and will be available in an upcoming build of the app.

  12. Graph scaling needs to be fixed it is to flat. One crosshair is all that is needed. The multiple crosshairs is just annoying here and in VV 7. The indicator windows once resized need to stay that way and not revert back on next graph when looking at multiple charts in a list.

Thanks for this detailed feedback, it’s really helpful as we continue refining the charting experience.

You’re absolutely right on a few key points. We're already working on adjusting the graph layout to better use screen space, especially on smaller displays. That includes improving scaling so charts don’t appear too flat, and we agree that a single crosshair would provide a cleaner, less distracting experience, we're reviewing how best to implement that.

Also, your point about indicator window sizing is well taken. Keeping those settings consistent as you move through a list of charts is important, and it's something we're actively looking into as part of our chart customization improvements.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, it helps guide exactly where we focus next. If there are any other small frustrations or must-haves in your charting workflow, we’d love to hear them.

  13. In the landing screen when to buy gets yo some useful searches which is great.
In the same screen when to sell gets you no searches, but just a brief tutorial on stop loss. Let me suggest that when to sell will have some short selling ideas.

    Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion!

You’re right to point out the difference between the “When to Buy” and “When to Sell” experiences. This is intentional, at least at this foundational tier, where we prioritize prudent guidance focused on using stop prices to manage downside risk. Our research shows that many newer VectorVest users are still building confidence with the system, and introducing more aggressive tactics like short selling too early can increase complexity and anxiety, which we aim to minimize at this stage.

That said, your suggestion aligns well with how we envision expanding guidance in higher tiers. As users grow in confidence and skill, we plan to introduce access to more advanced strategies, including shorting, contra ETFs, and other techniques suited for downturns. These will be driven by more assertive systems and backed by education to help users apply them effectively without being overwhelmed.

    We’d love to learn more…

  14. I can't locate any ability to set the stop values for portfolio stocks. Even the most basic VV process includes the necessity for setting a stop at the time of purchase and providing a method for displaying the stop in a portfolio report and stock graph.
