  3. Backtest Transactions

    After running a backtest, the transaction log lists the Buys and Sells in batches, not in the order that they occured. A customer has requested that, if possible, this be listed in the order that it occured as it does not do so on the left under Status when the backtest is executed manually.

  4. SERIOUS PROBLEM: ITALIAN SHARE PRICE ARE ONE DAY LATE!

    italian share price and related signals are one day late. Example: end of the day Friday and all weekend (even today) the system says current asa 5th of August but they are end of the day prices of Thursday August 4th. Other exchanges are correctly showing Friday prices...

  5. Add Limit Duplicate Repurchases to Portfolio Automation

    If using portfolio automation add a user definded condition to specify the number of day to wait before repurchasing a stock the portfolio just sold.

    In VectorVest 7, you can add Moving Averages to a parameter by right-clicking on the parameter on the right-hand side of the Graph. Click Add Moving Average to choose a moving average to add.

  9. Run VV7 without Admin rights

    When starting VV7 1.2.1.7 on a Windows (7) General User computer account, it prompts for an Administrator password.

    Is this necessary? Is there a WinReg key that can be relocated to "users"? It may be the version check, opening the WinReg key other than KEY_READ?

    This issue was resolved in the latest version of VectorVest 7, 1.3.2.9.

    VectorVest 7 will no longer prompt for the administrator rights on login.

    In the Add Trade dialog, you have the option of clicking Get Price to get the price of the stock at that point in time.

    Or you can add your own price by typing a price into the texbox.

    This feature exists in the current Market Timing graphs. At the bottom left of the graph is a series of buttons. One is labeled Confirmed Calls to activate arrows on the graph showing where Market Calls happened.

    Click the arrow next to the button to view Primary Wave, DEW, or Green Light Buyer instead.

  13. Put Market Timing markers into the Backtest graphs and make the AutoTester the standard in VV7

    It would be helpful to see the market changes in the backtester to help evaluate a strategy's effectiveness.

  14. Customizeable Alert Messages

    Email alerts always start off with the same title, you have met the criteria...... We know that already. I want to know if something from my list is breaking out or down has met a trigger. EX: Stock XYZ falls to 82, I want the alert to say XYZ falls to 82 or lower limit, this part needs to be short so it fills the header in an email with what you need to know, not what is currently there.... has met the criteria...

    This change is now active in the VectorVest Watchdog.

    The alert subject will give the name of the stock and the major action that occurred.

  15. Closing Position and Buying from Search

    On BackTest in VectorVest 7, there are 4 built-in choices to choose from in Market Timing List. But I miss the closing position and Buying from search option that we have in VV-usa. I'd like to use this option to get out and get-in in time of my own determiniation. We have better control of handling portfolio with this option.

  16. Add price change and price % change to Price Bar

    Add price change and price % change to "Price Bar" in graph control panel. This data is aready available in "viewers" tab and is used extensively/consistenty with other graphic systems.

    Price Change and % Price Change are both available in graphs.

    In the Graph Control Panel, click Add Parameter and you will find them under the Price/Volume section.

  17. When you edit a backtest and go from BUY LONG to SELL SHORT the %GAIN/LOSS STOP CRITERIA disappears

  18. Watchdog Alerts Order

    A customer requested that Watchdog Alerts be placed in the order with the most recent at the top and the oldest at the bottom. Currently they are out of order or the most recent is at the bottom. If there could be a feature that allows VV users to put these in order of their choice, it would be greatly appreciated.

  19. Alerts Portfolio and Watchdog

    The alerts at the bottom of the screen in VV7, whether for Watchdog or Portfolios, remain in the list and never go away unless each one is individually clicked on. Unless that is done, they remain in the list of alerts forever. Is there any way to have an options that will erase a group of alerts at the same time or automatically ?

    In this update, after opening the Alerts list, all Alerts will be marked as having been read.

  20. Performance Graph - allow drawings on Graph

    The Performance graph is the only graph that does not allow you to draw trend lines and all other drawing options. If other options are and issue - then at least allow the extended line. Also regression channels would be a nice option added to the drawing package.
