My broker charges a significant fee at tax time for dealing with K-1's. It would benefit me to avoid them.
However, I suspect that this would require a lot of work. I would appreciate the feature, but recognize that this might be a request that is too expensive to fill.

As with many other comments, my primary request is for the portfolio to allow me to enter negative amounts, so that I can account for long calls and long puts. My second-priority request is to associate the option income (and expense) with a security, as I do with dividends. The idea of an option portfolio is intriguing, but it will take you a lot of work to implement. Even though I do a substantial amount of option trading, and would find this useful, I think this is a separable idea and a much longer term project.

VectorVest has a fundamentally different theory of "value" than Morningstar. Both of them use a fundamentally different valuation approach than Motley Fool, than GuruFocus, than TipRanks (etc.).
I don't think there is a "right" here. I think there are potentially divergent signals, and when there are significant differences, I think that can be useful for stimulating a deeper risk analysis of that security.
