  1. My second suggestion came about after I was able to determine the reason for the dip I returned to my watchlist and wanted to make a note of my findings and attach it to this stock in my watchlist for future reference a note like (stock dipped following earnings report possible profit taking) [suggestion] why not add the ability to add notes to a stock in the watchlist?

  2. Be alerted right away when their is news about any of your stocks in your watchlist. You shouldnt have to go look for the new news you should be alerted right away as it becomes available. Most new is very time sensitive and I want to know RIGHT AWAY as it's available.

  3. I'd like to be able to do "Searches" of all ETFs with and without the leveraged funds. Vector Vest is woefully short of data to use for investing in ETFs. A list of all available ETFs with and without the leveraged funds would be a start.

  4. IT would be good to be able to add the date you put a stock into a portfolio and or watchlist, this way when you review your watchlist performance you can determin when the stock was entered into it.

  9. The default sort is VST. With ETFs %PRC is what matters. When you go from one Watchlist to another and then back to original, the sort reverts back to VST. The sort parameters need to be sticky.

  10. We need ability to start with a Watchlist, sort, add, delete stocks (all of which we can execute now), THEN be able to save as a new Watchlist. Ability to bulk delete highlighted stocks from the Watchlist without using a pop-up tick list will be most helpful.

This feature will enable users to perform multiple levels of sorting very quickly. I currently have requirement to sort by as many as 6 columns.

  11. A list of Stocks, separated by commas, cannot be pasted into a VV7 Watchlist. This problem needs fixing. It can be tedious typing individual symbols if the list is big.

  13. My idea is so simple and obvious that it must have been thought of previously and rejected for some reason. I would like to be able to have columns in the watch list containing the stocks I own where I can input my entry price and number of shares and therefore constantly keep a real time watch on how my portfolio is doing. I have to flip back and forth between V.V. and my broker all the time because I have to enter this info in my brokers website.

  14. In VV6 if you click on any watchlist, e.g., S&P 500 and enter a date it will show you in a header above the columns the numbers (and %) of Buys, Sells, Holds.
It allows a quick view of the strength of the market segment represented by the index. You have lost this in VV7

  15. It would be great to speed up the addition of stocks to a watchlist. For example; while I am searching through a unisearch of stocks or simply doing my top 20 VST selection, while looking at the chart it would be more efficient to have a way to add it to a watchlist without having software take us to that watchlist and then having to go back to charting. it would be faster to simply just click "ad to watchlist" select watchlist then move on to charting the rest of the stocks. This way I can then go to the…

  17. Please provide the ability to add alerts in watchlists. This could be a simply list not set up for accounting reasons, or attached to our portfolio if we wish. Would not want the alert to stop and stock removed once the stock reaches that alert like currently happens in paper trading portfolio with genius. The alerts should be any setting we desire, eg.
    when Rec=Sell
    Dew or confirmed call up/down
    x% trailing stop
    RT< eg 1
    breaches MA40 or eg 150
    even combo of MA40 & RT<1

  18. When adding a new stock to the watchlist, the width of the column with the company name changes and does not display all names fully. This can be fixed with AutoFit, but has to be done manually as it changes each time a new stock is added. Can this be saved automatically?
