When a significant event happens such as a stock rapidly climbing up or down, there should be a news flash. For example, Lihir Gold Ltd. climbed up 26% last Thursday; also some company went under chapter11 and its stock dived down by 40%.

allow custom moving average of today be compared to a previous date moving average
Example:
Date of Search, 13d MA (Price) > 1 day ago 13d MA (Price) [ to ensure 13d MA price slope is positive]
or
Date of Search, 13d MA (Price) = 1 day ago 13d MA (Price) [ to determine slope = 0 of MA, an inflection point]
Allowing this would enable the identification of major changes in trends

add a tool that searches for seasonality.
What I would like to see is the ability to search for stocks / industries / sectors that perform well during certain time frames. For example, some stocks / industries do very well during the christmas season. Knowing which ones could help users ride seasonality trends.

Create Custom Timing
Ability to use VV fields to create own custom timing based on VVC.
Could be a tool that can be automatically applied in the AutoTester to backtest ideas.
I.e. create your own Market TIming (that you can save), using available fields & rules, to create Long, Short and Neutral signals that you can backtest and use in teh future.
If ever created, you could also run a competition for users to run their timing system on backtests and future to explore ideas and timing that suits different types of users.22 votes -
allow custom moving averages to be manipulated by + - x / operations
Presently, once a custom moving average is created, it is "greyed" out, and no mathmatical operations can be performed. Correspondingly, a simple operation of comparing two moving averages to some scalar value other than 1.0 cannot be performed. To wit:
Date of Search, 13d MA (Price) / 8d MA (Price) < 2.0
is not a possible search.

Add more technical indicators like CCI, Twiggs MoneyFlow, etc.
VV7 is the flagship product but is lacking in technical indicators, especially compared to VV's Options Pro! We keep hearing that retail investors should watch for institutional footsteps, so what better way than Twiggs or Chaikin (competing product!?!) MoneyFlow, as well as the popular CCI, and several others to allow for more trading techniques/approaches. VV needs to keep in step with the competition and add more technical indicators! TYVM!

Allow the use of RT moving average crossovers as stops for individual securities in a portfolio, rather than just for broad market timing.

Add the Hull Moving Average (HMA) as a Graph MA of Price
The Hull Moving Average (HMA) as a chart indicator available on my Active Trader Pro Fidelity account. It's also available on Think or Swim and a few other trading platforms. It's incredibly useful in trend trading for determining entry and exits. Please consider adding to the VV indicator tool set. It eliminates the lag and improves smoothing issues associated with other MA's.

Provide a tool that lets user track stocks that are moving up in VST rank.
Develop a tool that allows the user the ability to review the VST rank of a stock over each of the last 10 days (review period could be user defined). I find this is an excellent way to select momentum stocks that already have a good VST score and are beginning to move. Currently, I perform this analysis manually using spreadsheets.
