The biggest failing of VV Real time for day traders is the lack of a signal poiting to where excessive buying is going on. What Vv-RT needs is a virtual intra-day average volume. They report actual volume as it occurs but you have nothing to compare it to. If, every 10 minutes, they would add 1/39th of each stock's 50 day Ave. Volume (there are 39 ten minute intervals in the normal trading day), you could compare current intraday actual volume to a meaningful baseline and spot "boomers" as they start to run.

this would be terrific. I've added my own to the aggressive searches, and it usually works well cross checked against the real time highs or lows from my brokers software.

Would like that to.

VV's USP is the combination of fundamentals and technicals. Day trading does not seem to fit with this approach, being largely technical based.

V V C 6 used to have a DAY TRADING SIGNAL...ask V V C if they still have it

One way is simply to apply a LATE STOCHASTIC to an avarage graph of the 3 major indexes set up in your intersted time frame....coupled with a MACD of your choosing...... and an RSI value.....

I think if we create some sort of alert system that allows customers to set up combos of moving averages, protrader indicatiors, and our market timing indicators and there crossovers, that will send them an alert when the market is doing what they set up then that issue will do it. We of course would then be able to also do our own analysis and figure out which works on a consistant basis and create videos as to how they perform.
