When are the larger alerting system changes planned for and do they include Australia? If using e-mail alerts this makes it easy and global. If using SMS alerts, I can see this could possibly be US only. So perhaps US subscribers can choose any form and international market subscribers get e-mail as a starting point.

Looking forward to hearing an update about this. It's been 2.5years since Timothy commented and many years since this item was started.

It would be nice to receive text message or email notifications of when your trading signal of choice, such as the DEW changes. The changes in the primary wave and confirmed calls can be seen on the homepage but changes in the DEW are not seen on the homepage. So, another upgrade would be to add the DEW to the homepage as it is slower than the primary wave but faster than the confirmed calls.

Email me when my favorite market timing signal changes. I choose which signal I want to be alerted. I sometimes find I'm a day or two late to the change because I cannot be glued to my computer!! Would be very useful.

This feature would make using Vector Vest much easier. Imagine if you were totally in cash waiting for the next Buy signal (whether its Confirmed up, DEW, GLB, etc) and were logging in each day to check whether a signal has been triggered and nothing eventuated possibly daily for months. A simple email would notify you that you need to log in and decide which stocks to buy depending on your strategy.
technically, this should be a very simple modification as vector Vest already has access to email notifications and the signal data is obviously available.
There should be a setting where you can add your email (and Mobile no for text) and choose which signal(s) you want to be notified of.

I think thi suggestion ha been mis-classified as a "watch-Dog" issue. This suggestion addresses market conditions whereas Watch-Dog tracks and reports on technical issues for stocks only.

Yes Yes Yes! Send alerts on any change to Market Timing Signals (Confirm Up/Dn, GLB, GLB/RT Kicker, RT Kicker Combo, etc)!!!!

As part of these email alerts, we are hoping that VectorVest can alert a change in :

1) A newly "CONFIRMED UP", or a newly "CONFIRMED DOWN" generated signals on any ticker that exists in a chosen Porfolio selected for email alerts. (confirmed calls)

2) A change on a ticker on the first day that it is Recommended as a "BUY", or on the first day that it is Recommended as a "SELL". Again those would be signaled as part of a Portfolio chosen for email Alerts.

Looking through the list of Alerts, there is a big demand for this feature. Maybe consolidate them into single request. I'm really surprised that this feature is not already in the software as it is one of the basic fundamental principal of Vector Vest - know when to Buy/Sell.

Yes! email alerts for the C/up, C/dn, Dew, primary wave, Green light. maybe set this up in the portfolios tab.

Real time updates adjustable to so many times per day as we fade in and out of it real time.
