An error occurred while saving the comment Graham Jones commentedBack tester is very misleading in being able to buy unlimited amounts of stock at the opening price without pushing the price up, and conversely by selling unlimited amounts without changing the price. It is possible to limit the purchases to a proportion of the average daily volume under "More Settings" although contestants in Vectorvest contests would likely avoid doing this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Graham Jones commentedI use moving averages on my charts. When switching from weekly to daily the moving average needs to be 5 times higher. I have 2 setups for each graph which uses moving averages.

An error occurred while saving the comment Graham Jones commentedJust highlight all stocks in the portfolio by L-clicking the top one and then Shift-L-Clicking the bottom one. Now R-click (keep it depressed for a second) and you will see a pop-up that when clicked will graph all of the highlighted stocks.

Sales Growth is an actual figure although I am not sure how long it takes to show up after earnings reports. I also thought that sales per share is an actual figure, but now I must call VectorVest to confirm that. In any case, if sales growth is low, I would take any projected earnings figures as suspect.
