  1. The value of Protrader is not just in its technical analysis functions, but in the ability to use many of the functions in searches. Protrader features, like Relative Moving Average (RMA) and others, need to be incorporated in Protrader RT.

Searches using RMAs are now available in VectorVest 7 with ProTrader.

To run a search with an RMA Crossover, add the Price (Split Adjusted) field. The RMA Crossover is in the Operator list under ProTrader.

  5. Each time I type a symbol in the textbox on the Graphs page and press enter, I need to reach for the mouse again to click the cursor back into the textbox and press backspace before entering a new symbol. I do not want to use the mouse every time I want to get the graph for another symbol.

  7. Graph two or more stocks simultaneously...

I often like to see how much a stock is connected to SPY, QQQ, etc. or 2-3 similar stocks in the same sector. I am not able to do this in VV but can on my trading platform.

This feature exists in both VectorVest 7 and VectorVest Online. You can graph multiple stocks against each other by using a Performance Graph which is available in the Graphs section.

  9. Being notified whenever ANY stock's RT factor rises above 1.0 because most of those stocks continue to advance in price. Without this info. if is very likely that
I miss a possible portfolio gain. I don't notice the RT improvement until I happen
to look at a stock's chart that I see the RT advance and by then the stock price has (in most cases) already gained in value.

This is available with the Super Watchdog plugin. Simply set up a super watchdog using the “RT Crossover: Bullish” search

  10. When we do various drawings / trend lines on a stock chart (Graph), they disappear as soon as you close the chart. So 5mins later or next day, or next week if you want to check on those lines you drew previously, you have to draw them again and remember what you did with that particular stock and what you were waiting for. example waiting for a pullback to hit a support or trend line.

Is there anyway such drawings can be saved against the stock symbol ?

  15. Since a portfolio can have a variety of stocks that behave differently within the portfolio, it would help to more accurately track the performance of a portfolio if it was possible to set different stop loss criteria to individual stocks within the portfolio instead of the whole portfolio

Stop Criteria can be set on individual stocks of the portfolio by right-clicking the holding in the grid and choosing Edit Stop Criteria.

All of the Watchlists are updated regularly with the exception of the watchlists in the “Overview Watchlists” folder.
Those Overview watchlists are designed for a specific historical overview.

Sorry for the inconvenience, Mark. We did have some technical issues on Sunday. We are investigating the issues to ensure that it does not happen in the future.
