  1. When creating or using the unisearch tool the value box is vague. Example 50 day moving average volume ? Anything under 500,000 shares a day traded and this stock is hard to buy or sell fast. What value or number of shares would represent a small, midcap or large corporation? And so forth, at present I do not know this type of information, I am not a financial account dealing with corporations.

  2. Currently in Unisearch we can perform search for new Hgih. I think it would be useful to be able to search for near 52-week hgihs as well seen as many stocks are off their all time high in the current market.

  3. Every week we have a strategy of the week that often uses the Buy/sell ratio (BSR), color guard values, or MTI in order to determine when to buy or sell stocks in general. Why not allow the unisearch tool to access that data, to make it's own decisions as to WHEN to be in or out of the market, and when to go long and short on individual stocks the search finds? For example, I'd love to be able to reference the current BSR, and turn on a "bottom fishing " search when it hits a low value like .30,…

  6. Please all us to search "all time" historic new highs. Since the crash in 2008 this has become important because we need to know which companies are still doing great. AAPL is a good example everyone knows. Citi could be hitting a 52 new high at 5, but that doesn't mean they are doing the best they've ever done - we need to know who is the best of the best.

  7. I would like to see at least a 2 to 1 ratio of the distance from the current price to the resistance line vs. the support line. The parameter would have to look like this:
(resistance price - act price) / (act price - support price) with an operator > and a value of 2.

  8. I created a program in UniSearch that was centered around a custom field. Because the field did not move in realtime like RT and Price, it rendered the program useless. If I sort by the custom field in stock viewer, it does move in realtime. The problem is I don't want all the stocks in the VVC, only the ones from my UniSearch program. Hope you can make custom built fields move in realtime in UniSearch.

    Thanks, Kevin Williams

  10. In Unisearch stochastic Osc the number of days DPeriod should range [1-100] or custom editable. Also it will be good to have filter based on stochastic %D Period and %K Period crossover or Crossunder other than only overbought/oversold.

  13. In Unisearch (VV-7), when you are creating a new search, the prompt moves improperly. E.G. after selecting a parameter you expect the cursor (prompt) to move to the right to the Operator field. Instead, the cursor jumps UP to the previously entered parameter field

  14. In personal custom fields and in the VectorVest custom fields maintain the list in alphabetic order. I.e. to divide GPE by VST it would say +GPE / VST and to divide VST by GPE it would be /GPE * VST. Note: the firdt operator (+,-,*,/) is ignored by the sort tool - where ther is no first operator, the + sign would be inserted. ie. to subtract RV from RS it would say +RS -RV; to subtract RS from RV it would say -RS +RV. This way, the field names are always in alphabetic order from left to right.

  17. The current use of the previous days closing price as a basis for determining the gain performance by the top performing search/strategys makes it very misleading and just plain false. use of the current days open would be much more accurate.since the users cannot get these prices after the market close when we must do our evaluation and orders after getting the daily views. The way it is now the top performing strategys in the views are almost useless and they are simply not accurate. The quicktest could also be improved by using the next days open as the starting…
