    This feature is available in VectorVest 7 by clicking Add Trade and choosing Sell Long as the Trade Type. The dialog will then allow you to choose the position to sell, as well as the Price/Share and Quantity.

  2. "Tools" "Custom Field Builder" use in "Graphs" tab,,,

    I know it would be VERY helpful to me to be able to use "Tools" "Custom Field Builder" under the "Graphs" tab,,, I called today to see why I was not able to use my custome fields with my graphs and was told that it is not available,,,BUT I HAVE MADE CUSTOME FIELDS AND USED THEM WITH MY GRAPHS AND HAVE ONE WORKING NOW! Can you tell me how to do it AGAIN... THANKS

    Check out our existing searches in the “Trends – New Stuff” group on the UniSearch tab… “New Buys”, etc.

  4. Schwab offers their software via the cloud using Citrix so Mac users do not need bootcamp or vmware

    Use cloud to offer VV7 using Citrix. Eliminate the need to use windows on Mac. Schwab currently does this with their software.

    Subscribers will install Parallels RAS Client (free app) to access our software. To start using it, go to vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7/mac.

  5. Can VV be delivered to MAC users via Citrix Zen?

    I am currently receiving a Windows only trading platform on my MAC via Citrix Zen. The program works great and does not require me to have Parallels or Windows installed. It functions directly on my MAC. Can Vector Vest be delivered the same way for MAC users?

    VectorVest 7 allows the entry of either the symbol or the company name in all symbol text boxes. Type in the company name and it will narrow it down to the symbol you are looking for.

  7. RT Kicker Filter for Stocks - Apply the GLB Kicker to Stocks - Improve performance

    Since the Kicker for the GLB worked so well, why not allow users using Unisearch to search for stocks whose 10 day MA of RT is over its 15 day MA of RT or any moving average we want.

    The new update to VectorVest 7 includes Custom Moving Averages for Unisarch that can be used to create an RT Kicker. Last Friday’s Strategy of the Week showed how to setup this type of search.

  8. When working withe Green Light Buyer graphs, make the red arrows more prominent ahead of the yellow indicators.

    Simple, when viewing a market timing graft, the green arrows are very easy to see whereas the red arrows are most times not distinguishable as they are covered by a string of yellow indicators. The red is far more important and should be more easily visable.

    This change has been made and will be available in an update to VectorVest 7 next week.

    The Neutral signals will no longer get in the way with the Down signals.

  9. Make viewing the Model Portfolios optional

    Make an option to delete or hide the model portfolios. It is very frustrating to have my portfolios get crowded out by something I do not use or need.

    We have added a new checkbox at the top of the Portfolios to hide/show the VectorVest Model Portfolios in the new 1.4 release of VectorVest 7. If you don’t have it yet, you should be receiving the update in the next few days.

  11. Add 150 day moving average crossover to unisearch

    Please add a 150 day moving average to the crossover options in search field for moving ave crossovers

    currently you only offer 50 & 100 & 200 day options.

    Please add the 150 to that field. It will be a huge help

    The latest update to VectorVest 7 allows searching on any Moving Average Custom Field.

    Using Custom Fields you can easily create a 150 day Moving Average Crossover search.

  17. Make it work on a MAC and iOS please. Express doesn't even come close.

    Custom Moving Averages are now available in VectorVest 7 for all ProTrader users.

    The update is currently being rolled out, but can also be downloaded from http://www.vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7

    Last Friday’s Strategy of the Week gives a great overview of how to use Custom Moving Averages in Unisearch searches.

  20. Make a VV7 Mobile app (iPhone/ iPad) for EOD (end-of-day) users

    There is a VV7 mobile app for Intraday and RealTime users. Make the same app available for VV7 EOD users.
