  1. Add WatchList Average Graph

    I want to chart the AVERAGE of a watchlist or Portfolio in real time (intraday) and be able to apply indicators (moving, averages, etc. so I can determine entry and exit points for the Watchlist or Portfolio as a whole. You already give me this ability on individual stocks. I need to do it for the average of the Portfolio and Watchlists. VectorVest Prographics lets me chart a single graph for the average of a watchlist with end of day data and apply any indicator. I want to do the exact same thing with intraday data.

    This feature is available in the latest update to VectorVest 7 which is currently being rolled out.

    We’re proud to announce that VectorVest 7 is now available on Mac OS X 10.7 and later! This solution no longer requires a separate partition or installing Parallels Desktop + Windows. Instead, we use a remote server to host VectorVest 7.

    Subscribers will install Parallels RAS Client (free app) to access our software. To start using it, go to vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7/mac.

  3. Lets have the Midas Touch search in VV7 - I dont want to use the old one

    Please place the Midas Touch Search in VV7.
    SHouldnt have to use the old version to have something that was meant for the new version.

  4. Improve color set-up for graphs when choosing white background.

    I very much like being able to select a white background for graphs separately from a universal choice. However, when this is done, colors of the selected graph items (RT etc.) are not changed and become invisible or nearly so. Please on making this white background selection, provide a complementary set of veiwable colors for all parameters.

    Custom Moving Averages are now available in VectorVest 7 for all ProTrader users.

    A 100 Day MA Crossover can now be accomplished by creating a 100-day Custom Moving Average field.

    Last Friday’s Strategy of the Week gives a great overview of how to use Custom Moving Averages in Unisearch searches.

  8. Allow all results to be returned by Unisearch. VV7 limits it to 100

    Just like VV6, please allow the option to have all results to be shown not just the 100. One way I use VV6 is to return all trade-able stocks, i.e with 100K average volume , not ETFs or indexes, and not pink-slip or bulletin board stocks. I then put them in a watch-list and track this watch-list's average price, BSR, etc. This gives a more realistic view of the market. I can't seem to do that with VV7 now

    This feature is now available in VectorVest 7.

    The “Display Top” button at the top of both Viewers and Unisearch contains an ALL selection that will return all results.

  9. Add a DPO option in Unisearch

    If you have Protrader and the end of day software. Allow the use of DPO in the unisearch tool to check for improving stocks or ones that have just gone positive per DPO.

  10. actually "save" and then reuse my "settings". I have yet to find ANY of my settings ever "reloaded"

    VectorVest 7 saves many settings including Layouts and personalization settings.

    If you are looking for a specific setting to be saved, please add it to UserVoice as a separate new idea.

    Questrade is now available in VectorVest 7 for Canadian residents.

    It can be used in both RoboTrader and TradeNow.

    To connect your Questrade account, go to Application Settings – Trading tab. Or right-click on any stock and select “Trade Now – Manage Brokerages”.

  13. Custom Stop Criteria should remain as set in Genius and not return to default value

    The Genius allows to edit different stop prices for each stock, which is a very valuable feature. However, they return all to the default value after the Genius is turned off and on again.

    In the latest version of VectorVest 7, the Genius will ask you if you want to keep your existing stop criteria when reactivating automation. Select “Keep Existing” to prevent your stop criteria from being overwritten by the defaults.

  15. Total Volume

    In VV7 there is no option for choosing the total volume traded each day. This is an important factor in assessing market action like distribution. It was there in VV6 Thanks.

    There was an issue preventing Total Volume from being re-added to a graph after being removed in VectorVest 7 End of Day.

    This issue is resolved in the next update of VectorVest 7 (1.3.3) which should be available shortly.

    weekly (as well as daily) pricing modes are available as of version 1.2.1

  17. Allow non US users to use the desktop version of Vector Vest

    From what I can see the desktop versionis for US markts only. Other markerts are covered via the web version only.

  18. Thicken/stronger emphasis of plain line on a graph

    In modifying a plain line on a graph, in changing style menu, allow flexibility to "thicken" the line. Currently a plain line cannot be "thickened"/enlarged.

    This feature is now available in our latest update to VectorVest 7, currently being rolled out.

    This feature can be turned off in the Graph Settings dialog.

  20. Increase Views Recording Volume

    Please turn the recording volume up when recording. My system is set at 100% and your recording are muffled and I'm not able to hear your reports.
