improve printing capabilities

In addition to defaulting to Landscape, I would like to have a system generated date in header/footer; and be able to select fields from the Portfolio Summary (such as "Net" and "percent gain/loss") to print

Is any one else having trouble with this? The default setting for printing is Portrait (which supports 4-5 columns) and has a 1.5" left margin (which works for the developers looseleaf, but not at all in Landscape). I would really like to change default to Landscape with the extra space at the top of the page, but there is no provision for this.
Does anyone else have an issue? -

Currently, unisearch supports printing, but it is clumsy - does not support a revision to the defaults (portrait not landscape, unusual margin setting, etc) - does not format to "fit to page" - customize is limited to one customization - etc. - which in the end means lots of keystrokes (and wasted paper, as I mess up) in order to get what I want
