MACD crossover the center (zero) line
Want/need the capability to query when the MACD crosses over the zero line

the protrader function only allows for MACD line cross signal line, it doesn't have a function for crossing the ZERO LINE. i think you are confusing MACD bullish/bearish crossover with MACD crossing zero line
they are not the same thing

I am surprised this one did not get many votes. I have found this to be a significant indicator in the past.

I support this idea and would like to add my own which is similar.
I find that it is a great time to enter a trade when the MACD is turning up from below zero. This usually happens a few periods before the crossover with the signal line.
This is particularly powerful if it is supported with a Stochastic rising out of an oversold position or the RT rising from below one.

This can be done by going to "Stocks" then "Price/Volume" and selecting "Price (split-adjusted)" as your parameter. Then look for "ProTrader" under the operator. Under that menu is almost a dozen cross-over parameters. The MACD is one of them. It allows for detection of a MACD cross over above or below and within 1 to 5 days.

The MACD centerline crossover would be a powerful component of the watchdog and unisearch

Give the choice "is currently" to "cross" above or below.
