MACD Histogram Searching
Add Protrader feature that allows user control for unisearch criteria for MACD histogram trends. Example finds stocks when MACD 12,26,9 bottoms and trends higher by 2 days. Allow user control buttons to set MACD parameters (e.g. 12,26,9) and histogram trends (up/down) and (#of periods-1,2,3 days). This is a more aggressive search than MACD or DPO crossovers@0 and can return higher returns.

I can not search for: MACD crossing the zero line.
Only crossing with signal line is possible.
Protrader needs an urgent upgrade, also no CCI in protrader and in the graph parameters. -

It would be very useful

I support this idea and would like to add my own which is similar.
I find that it is a great time to enter a trade when the MACD is turning up from below zero. This usually happens a few periods before the crossover with the signal line.
(I find that the bottom bar of the histogram is usually too early to enter.)
This is particularly powerful if it is supported with a Stochastic rising out of an oversold position or the RT rising from below one.

Not just MACD. Need this for Stochastic and all other performance histogram searches. The search should allow for a crossover of %K and %D and not forcing say crossing above or below 20 for example. It would also be helpful to be able to add a moving average to the RSI graph and be able to perform a search based on a moving average RSI crossover.

When the Graph Frequency/Time Span Selector is set to weekly, an uptrend change can be spotted when one bar is lower than the preceding bar (and vice versa). The problem is that when the Time Span Selector is set to weekly, the MACD-Histogram is only updated once a week rather than every day. Divergences happen daily -- not just once/week. If the weekly MACD-Histogram were updated daily along with the search capability suggested above (also using a weekly period), the result would be very powerful.

This would be a great benefit in finding stocks on their way up. Now one has to graph to see this then deselect those not crossing up yet. Need the capability to change the moving average of these crossovers.
