Percentage PRC and $ change is very confusing. Canadian stock MPH all day yesterday showed green under both headings where, in actual fact, it should have shown red. Opening price was $8 and, for most of the day, it went down from there and finished down 4% where you showed it up 16%

This confused me until I spoke to Will at your office who explained to me that the comparison is not made from the opening price but from the closing price of the previous day. Glancing at your screen can, therefore, be misleading because one could easily assume, being green, that things looked good whereas, in actual fact, it is going down and should show red. From all discussions, one would expect it to be from opening if it is showing the performance for the day.

Now I understand why some find your system confusing when it looks so simple.

The whole principle of VectorVest is to make things simple. As it is now, one has to calculate how the stock is doing percentage-wise by calculating outside of the system the percentage difference between the opening and current price.
