Some of these enhancements may already be in the works, but I would like to see the following enhancements:

(A) Enhancements to ProTrader:

1. Add Keltner Channel crossovers to the existing set of technical parameters to be used in searches. I know we currently have Bollinger band crossovers, but Keltner Channel will add to the power of ProTrader

2. Add capability to find support/resistance retracement/break from moving average lines. Right now, VV covers only horizontal support/resistance.

3. Expand support/resistance data to span more than 300 bars. Also, increase number of touches

4. Provide more flexibility to choose moving average crossovers in searches. For example, add a capability to select time periods in months. Eg., search 1 month – 20 month crossovers.

5. Provide a moving average search feature to identify stocks that are above or below a certain moving average line when defining searches. Right now, we only have searches for crossovers.

6. Add some basic yet powerful pattern recognition capabilities to searches such as cup with handle, double top/bottom, climax top/capitulation bottom, 4 week tight pattern, etc.

(B) Tools for scanning for potential earnings plays:

I would like to see some basic stock selection criteria for trading earnings announcements such as:

• Companies that have consistently beaten (a) revenue estimates, (b) earnings estimates, and (c) forward guidance quarter over quarter

• Companies that have exhibited “accelerated earnings and/or revenue growth” over a number of quarters

• How companies have reacted to earnings on the day/day after the earnings release including the extent of price moves so they can be searched over a number of quarters to find patterns or serial earnings beaters or missers
