in my current trading platform, If I bring up a position There is a horizontal line reflecting the price paid for the position . Further, by placing a curser directly over this line it displays the number of shares bought and the price/cost. This provides a quick view of graph in relation to the price paid. This would be applicable to personal and vv portfolios. This function could be set to on or off.
