The SOTW for 8-10-2012 "Improving the Green Light Buyer with an RT Kicker." introduces using VVC RT simple moving average crossover requirement to determine if a green light is valid to buy stocks.

This is akin to what I have been studying using VVC Price moving averages to tell when to use the C/Up signals and when to ignore them.

For example in down markets it seems to make great sense to ignore a C/Up when the VVC Price 160 day MA is trending down until it begins recovering.

Also it seems valid to wait until the VVC Price 45 day Weighted MA is trending up and using this trend in combination with your RT Kicker and a C/Up to go long. For example, look at the two C/Up dates of 7/30/2010 and 9/9/2010. Using this combination avoids the false Up of 7/30/10 and captures the true Up of 9/9/10. Will this work throughout the past 20 years? We'll have to test this. Will You, please? I would like to be able to include this in a search criteia so that stocks would only be reurned if the selected VVC criteria were satisfied.
