Competitions are often provided by VectorVest to stimulate the use of the automated trading feature.
A Challenge/Competition Button would allow a individual or group to stage a Challenge. The administration of that challenge is automatic. By eliminating the administration work to eliminate cheating the new system is designed to encourage the development of automated trading plans with predetermined stop losses.
1. Create a backtest using either a new portfolio or existing trading system.
2. Click the Convert Button
3. New Feature area in the "Create Portfolio from Backtest" screen.
Add a Portfolio Challenge/Competition Button choice.
The choice would be between Regular Portfolio and Challenge/Competition.
What is the difference proposed:
A) Challenge/Competition portfolio cannot be edited once selected.
B) Challenge/Competition portfolio can be stopped.
C) Challenge/Competition portfolio can be copied.
D) Challenge/Competition portfolio can be deleted.
E) Challenge/Competition portfolio can select a predetermined end date.
