add chart pattern finder/recognition
software would be able to analyze any graph and identify signifcant technical chart patterns like wedges, triangles, double tops, etc.

I think this is an excellent idea. The graphs in VectorVest are one of it's best features I think and this would be a fantastic addition.

Pattern recognition is a great idea. I know Fidelity has that. There's is many ways to implement this. One I like is that if you graph a stock and it has a pattern formation, it is automatically shown or overlaid on the graph.

please add this for all stocks in vv database and selectable if you want it based on a watch list. I track the 85/85 index of stocks in IDB (best of the best) so I want to know when those take off. Thx

schwab does this currently, but we need something that keeps us in VV. All classic chart patterns should be included with the option of an email alert for your chart pattern that is identified. TD ameritrade does this as well, but we want to stay here

I would like to have a scan for cup with handle pattern. I do believe that IBD introduced a lot of people to VectorVest. How about helping the crowd out who really believes in the cup with handle pattern?

Donchian Channel. A moving average indicator developed by Richard Donchian. It plots the highest high and lowest low over the last period time intervals and is good for finding support and resistance.

In addition to finding standard patterns used in trading pattern recognition, software be able to recognize crossover of these popular indicators, ie macd and stochastics ,both slow /fast values,at the same time...........
