Apple/Mac users - Create a full-blown application
We’re proud to announce that VectorVest 7 is now available on Mac OS X 10.7 and later! This solution no longer requires a separate partition or installing Parallels Desktop + Windows. Instead, we use a remote server to host VectorVest 7.
Subscribers will install Parallels RAS Client (free app) to access our software. To start using it, go to http://www.vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7/mac.

Without a Mac application your product is of no use, especially since portfolio analysis does not cover a number of well know stocks

Same sentiment as others... i want to run vv on my mac

Or make the online version fully functional through safari and or firefox. You don't need a full mac version if the online version could deliver the same functionality through the web!!!!

how many votes do they have to see before taking action? I think this is one of the most voted ideas yet seems they have no intention on doing something about it... not cool VV.

As a new member it was disapointing to find out VV is not designed for a Mac and more disapointing not to be advised in all the emails to join.
serious lack of vision as no doubt someone else might fill this gap -

How do you download the software onto your macbook pro?

Mac is now on Intel chips, can it be that hard? Build on Flash Player, Quicken, or other interactive program.

The only satisfactory way to use VV in MAC environment is to install Parallels Desktop and buy a Win 7 licence, then run VV in a virtual Win machine . That is what I am doing.
Problem : buy a Win Internet security sw and undergo frequent Win updates. I had to add 4 Gb RAM on a iMac just to have decent performances. Not so easy with my MacBook laptop, when travelling.

I definitely agree a Mac OS version of VV is long past due. I find it hard to believe that it is "just to hard" to create an Apple compatible version. I am considering canceling after many years with VV.

I was very very disappointed with the VV for my Mac! After the trial, i will not go on. Larry Smith

When are you going to give full application to Mac users? I've sent this request multiple times in the past and don't even get a return reason why you don't. Do you really want to take a pass on all Mac users? You must not understand stocks well, if this is your real business "plan".

C'mon man. this the 21st century. Apple is kicking butt..VV just giving
people the wag. Will cancel trial subscription. Very disappointing. Says
a lot about customer service. -

I am very frustrated running VV on my iMac using Bootcamp. It takes time to switch over to the PC side. Then the Pc automatically updates and restarts (inApple), so I have to switch again to the Pc side. I may not renew VV unless they develop an Apple version. TC2000 does have an Apple version which works very well. They do not have the daily market calls like VV, but you can figure it out on your own with a little extra work.

I was sure when I listened to Dr Diliddo's "How to Master the Market" CD Rom he was saying it was all developed on his "Apple Macintosh computer". It struck me as kind of odd that he mentioned developing VectorVest on the Mac several times in the presentation, but he now claims it is too involved (to quote Craig Howard from a week ago) to make a Mac version.
Please make a version for Mac, I am only new, and already sick of the Express version. Half the stuff I want to use is not available to me... -
Todd McLay commented
Although very impressed with Vector Vest and its capabilities I have no choice but to cancel my subscription if they do not become Mac friendly. Not sure why they wouldn't feel it necessary to accommodate to the $400+ billion apple enterprise...

At least update the damned strategies in unisearch. It's frustrating to watch a video on a strategy that's not available to me in express.

Really, in this day and age??? WTF...Wow, big guy... little vision...farm it out...there's an "ap" for that!

I spoke with Dr. DiLitto last weekend at the Toronto Money Show. He said it was just too involved to make the full system Mac compatible. :(
