Apple/Mac users - Create a full-blown application
We’re proud to announce that VectorVest 7 is now available on Mac OS X 10.7 and later! This solution no longer requires a separate partition or installing Parallels Desktop + Windows. Instead, we use a remote server to host VectorVest 7.
Subscribers will install Parallels RAS Client (free app) to access our software. To start using it, go to http://www.vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7/mac.

I think it is past time for a response from someone at VV on this issue. That your are working on it and you expect it in X amount of time; or you have no intention of ever making a MAC version; or . . .?

Although I do have Windows Workstation along with a Mac Pro, I still need to use both of my machines with multiple Displays to watch the market, Derby, multiple Graphs, and my Broker's Trading Systems. Could you please identify if support of MAC is in Progress or it has not even started?

With the Mac, iPhone, and iPad market shares growing it seems dumb not to have fully functional apps available for the Apple platforms.
I will probably NOT subscribe to the RealTime Derby product because decent apps for the three OS above are not available.

Add my vote for a Mac version.

The top issue for a number of years now and it seems no closer to a solution than ever. I'm one of those who only runs Windows because of VV. In my case on a Parallels virtual machine with Windows 10. While I have no speed issues I would very much welcome a Mac OS native version. As noted elsewhere, the future target audience for VV will much more likely be using a Mac and stay away from VV for that reason. Get on with it, and come over to the bright side VV developers!

I just joined but VV doesn't work on the Mac without buying Windows and compromising processing with an emulation program for Window. Any ideas?

It is a real testimonial to VectorVest that so many Mac users continue to use their PC for VV only. It would be nice to be working with on reliable operating system. Are you getting any closer?

Really is a bummer that I joined and it doesn't work on a mac.

As a very long term VV subscriber and former VV User Group leader in two major metropolitan areas I'd like to speak out on this issue:
You are losing out on attracting a very rapidly changing dynamic of PC usage. The Windows OS is losing share to the Apple OS. This is happening primarily in the demographic that in my view VV most appeals to.
If re-writing for Apple is too daunting a task, then why not move the system into the cloud?

it is way past the time, please make a software for iOS

I had no idea there was no app for iOS. Shame on you! Get cracking.

Pretty sad you don't have a MAC version. The express version used for MACs is terrible. Looking elsewhere.

cannot use VV after my subscription runs out...went to all AAPL devices and VV does not compate

+1 for a Mac OS client or a web-based version of VectorVest. I'm running VV through VMWare but wow, there are quite a number of issues with display and re-drawing. I expect performance hits through virtualization but wow, I don't experience these types of display issues with other programs.

I have been a VV subscriber since the very early days (the printed weekly version, predating the early PC versions!).
The only reason I still hold on to this piece of crap Windows OS is because of my attachment to VV. I think it's time for you guys to get a clue. The major trend is away from Windows PC's in general and to the Mac OS for the type of work we do on VV.
I do use the mobile apps on my iPhone and iPad and they are useful for quick information. But for heavy lifting we need something better, faster and more reliable than the Windows OS.
Please!

I thought VV was in the process of developing an app for Apple/Mac. What is the status???

Would greatly appreciate VV working on Apple! One computer in my travel backpack is enough!

You are missing a opportunity for grow your user group, not being compatible with Apple. I am on the go all day and do not have access to a PC. I am deponent upon my IPad for many applications.
I will only use VV for another 30 days.
