Apple/Mac users - Create a full-blown application
We’re proud to announce that VectorVest 7 is now available on Mac OS X 10.7 and later! This solution no longer requires a separate partition or installing Parallels Desktop + Windows. Instead, we use a remote server to host VectorVest 7.
Subscribers will install Parallels RAS Client (free app) to access our software. To start using it, go to http://www.vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7/mac.

Please take the IPad serIuusly. More and more people are using it. I suggest that you create a section for aiPad. I am sure you will find a developer that will convert to IPad.

Now the IOS app doesn't even work on my IPad. Thoroughly discusted. About ready to cancel my subscription.

Millions of Mac users want to give you our money in exchange for a proper program - why don't you want our money?

VV seems slow to accomplish important projects like VV on Mac, new Simulator/Variator that works with VV7, not VV6, etc. It must mean they have low staff count or are unwilling to outsource the work.

I completely agree! I had to purchase a PC just to connect with VV. No way I'm adding Windows to my iMac via Parallels, etc!

Yes Vector create a full blown app so I can use your program on my Mac.
Why the hesitation ?

New subscriber here. Still in only on my trial period. I have a PC at work but Mac at home but cant really use it at work. The time I have is when I get home to my Mac. This is very 2000 of VV to not have this program available for the Mac. It would for definitely bring in more subscribers. I'm not sure if I will continue beyond the trial period as I can not use the program on my Mac.

Iv'e been asking for this for the last 2 years. I want to get real time but without a mac app. will not do it. When I email them about this I never receive a reply. I still can't figure out why they won't do it. I thing they would have a lot more subscribers.

VectorVest are you listening? This thread is going into it's 4th year...there is a need for a native Mac based app. I've been using VirtualboxVM to run VV on my Mac, it is a slow and clunky work around.

Without question! A full version would be great!

It would be great! I currently run Parallels V7 just to get W7 so that I can run VectorVest. Parallels is unstable, and requires frequent rebooting of MAC OS because the virtual machine icon is continually be corrupted. It's a total mess! Code Weavers CrossOver app which allows specific Windows apps to run in a native MAC environment would perhaps be the most elegant solution and cheaper for VectorVest, but that is something that VV must discuss with Code Weavers.

Not only would a full version help me with my Mac, but it would also potentially add many new users to VV, thus improving the bottom line. I have to use my slow, 8 year old PC to get full benefit, today...

I agree! I would be VERY useful to, at least, have access to the RT Kicker in the iPad and iPhone. I read the views every night from my iPhone. It is incovenient to go turn on the computer to do that when you have the application. You were extremely excited about the Kicker, now don't forget to include it in the Apps. At least start adding the asterik to the color guard in the applications or make a reference about the signal in the views every night for the sake of the App users.

Full blown version would be lovely, but I would be happy if I could just access the RT Kicker info on my ipad. Please consider!

I must agree that VectorVest is behind the times. I see Apple product all over the place. This is exactly what I told Blockbuster years ago before downloading movies from the internet was hot. Blockbuster had old men with old thinking running the ship and they missed their stop. Look what happened to blockbuster.

VV doesn't have to create an Apple version if they don't want to. But it does open them up to accusations of amateurism at best and not caring about the subscriber at worst. I agree, an Apple version is in everyone's best interest.

Everyone is on tablets these days. Apple Ipads are everywhere and other stock systems that are not as old as vv have applicatiions for them that look great and are easy to use. Is vv going to adapt or are we going to say Hey remember VectorVest?, like we say Hey remember Betamax, or remember Kodak?

It is most inconvenient that I can not use VV on my Apple. I still have an old laptop with Windows on board, but I am since one year, only using all my Apple devices, which are much more comfortable. Please make some inquiries to make Apple work.
