Apple/Mac users - Create a full-blown application
We’re proud to announce that VectorVest 7 is now available on Mac OS X 10.7 and later! This solution no longer requires a separate partition or installing Parallels Desktop + Windows. Instead, we use a remote server to host VectorVest 7.
Subscribers will install Parallels RAS Client (free app) to access our software. To start using it, go to http://www.vectorvest.com/install/vectorvest7/mac.

Please allow us a full-fledged version of VV on Firefox. It is too inconvenient to have to use Internet Explorer.

If you can not get to a full capability MAC version, please add some of the functions which have been the subject weekly strategies for the last several months. Such as Adding the MACD to the color guard report, or adding the hot recommended strategies to the EXPRESS research tool (stalwarts, bottom fishing in rising industries, etc.). -

Hey Paul,
If all it requires is an effort.... it seems you guys should make the effort! I'm running VV through VMWare's Fusion and it's clumsy at best. For a site that nickel and dimes every single feature, like autotesting, which should already be included for Pete's sake, having an interface that is a flashback to the 70's, doesn't seem like a wise use of all the membership fees you guys collect. The information on your site is excellent, the delivery medium of that information is down right aweful. -

Rewriting our code base to run on both Mac, and PC would require a significant development effort, and force us to make compromises which we are unwilling to make at this time. There are technologies on the horizon which will allow us to more seamlessly move into cross-platform compatibility. When these technologies are robust enough to meet our needs, we will re-address the idea. In the meantime, running parallels or using VectorVest Express are the two best options for Mac users.

I have been stuck in Vector Vest Express for two years waiting to get full VV capability on my Mac. My patience is running out , and Express doesn't have the full data that I need. If you can't support ALL computers, I will have to find an data supplier who will.

Come on Dr. D cough up some of that cash you make, and get with the times. . Apple you know the stock you were pumping up? Telling us all about how they had amazing sales. Well we all have MAC's. PC's suck. VV is a great system so I hear.

Too much Mickey Mouse. When will VV be Mac-user friendly.

Please, please make a full-feature Mac version.
Yes, I can run VV under Windows under Parallels. But the response is jerky (it can't be the fault of my 8-core 3 GHz model with tons of memory). Windows is also proving to be quirky in other ways.
My photography business is based on my Mac and I am becoming increasingly nervous about having a quirky program on my computer. -

Wake up guys ! MAC users are unhappy with VV.
Qu'attendez-vous pour nous offrir la version complète ? -

Not everyone uses PC's anymore. Mac/Linux O/S should be able to run the full version. What is the plan?

I agree! Let's get it on a Mac!

Indeed - A Mac version would be a truely welcome addition. Perhaps the larger question is also whether a non-IE version is possible, one that one on FireFox and other browsers.

At the very least, create a JAVA enabled site that is fully usable to both PC and MAC

how about letting IMAC users have access to the whole VV program, not just VV express!!!!!!

this is truly needed. an iPhone app would also be fantastic; especially for the real time product.
