  2. After you open a position, the only choice is to close the entire position. It would be great to have the ability to close a portion of the position. I will often sell a portion of an open position to lock in some profit and then sell more of the position as it continues to rise (or fall) based on my target criteria.

  3. A portfolio is now created by entering one trade at a time. If a portfolio exists on another platform, how do we get that across and integrate it easily into VectorVest? How about using a table to input values, or allowing to import via CSV? Right now it takes too much time especially if the portfolio has 20-39 holdings.

  4. Whenever market conditions change (move into c/up, c/dn, kicker combo, etc.) allow automatic settings to change, thereby enabling tightening or loosening of stops or gains, and changing investing size as well as number of stocks to purchase.

  7. Please reformulate and reintroduce the "Riding the Wave" portfolio advisory. This is the only advisory that is meaningful for my strategy as a mixture of 3 ETF funds (long or short): Dow, NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500. While the other portfolios may appeal to many subscribers, they lose meaning since they remain "long" for such a long time.

  8. It seems that "getting in early" on various market transitions/reversals can be a rewarding experience. Vector Vest follows several market timing indicators. It might be useful to generate a list of searches which historically have worked well if used at specific transitions. I envision one list for C/Up to C/Dn, another for C/Dn to C/Up, DEW up, etc. Perhaps a list of 5 or so searches for each transition case. It might also be useful to include MACD transitions on the Market Timing Graph. Vector Vest has the staff required to pursue this project. How about it?

  9. Please consider providing recommendations in the portfolio Genius at the end of the current day.

Using Sure Fire Success S&P500 Stop Asc / Index ETFs, I was surprised last Friday (buy signal) when my portfolio Genius did not show a recommendation. The response I got from technical support was that, since I am an end-of-day customer, the recommendation would come out at the end of Monday. That puts me a full day behind. Any earlier on Monday doesn't help as I'm usually not at my computer when the market opens.

    Thank you.

  10. The surefire success portfolios all seem to have 10 stocks. If you have a smaller amount of capital, say $25,000 that is only 2500 per stock. It would be nice to have a program for say five stocks which would be $5000 per stock.

  12. The ability to default the Portfolio tab to only show personal portfolios. Presently you have to manually deselect the check tab to remove VV Portfolios each time VV loaded up.

  14. Allow me to manually enter a current stock price on those entries in my Portfolio that V.V. does not yet cover.

Perhaps put a 'star' or an 'M' or something to show that it was manually overridden, and will not change unless I go back in and change it. It will allow my Portfolio to be correct. As it is now, I do not know the true value of my actual Portfolio, which I am monitoring on V.V., due to your excellent interface.

    Thank you.

  18. We used to be able to see instantly if any transactions had been made in the VV Portfolios. I think it was a red number in a ball that would flash when you clicked on each portfolio. This made it very fast and easy to scan them all each day. Now there are more portfolios and this handy time saving function has been removed, I think perhaps when we got the Genius? Now we have to go into reports and check the transaction log for each Portfolio. I would think this should be an easy feature to re-enable.

  20. If one changes the stop criteria in the Genius (after loading in stock purchases manually) from 'monitor throughout the day' to 'monitor once per day at end of day' it appears that the stop alerts are still reported throughout the day and not end of day. It would be nice to be able to see reports for end of day only since my stops are based on end of day and not intraday timing.
