Closed end funds
I don't like how all Closed End Funds have Industries and Sectors categorized as Market. Many are sector specific, so they can act differently than the general market.
Also don't like how all Closed End Funds have RV and RS values of 1.00 across the board. Again, they can act differently than the general market.
Thank you.

Tedious entry of symbols into Viewers in Australian software version
In the Australian software please eliminate the need to enter each symbol followed by .ax in the Viewers.
I note that a similar request has been posted for the UK software.2 votes -
Make Dividend Viewer more comprehensive and user friendly
Make Dividend Viewer more comprehensive and user friendly. Use 'Ex-Dividend Dates' vs. 'Dividend Executions'. Nasdaq has a great dividend format, See eg. http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/vz/dividend-history.

Remember size and position of previously opened windows
Each time I right-click a stock on the viewers tab and select View Full Stock Analysis Report (for example), it opens in the same relatively small size and position. And every time that happens, I have to resize the window larger to better view the report. VV should remember the last size and position of these windows and reuse these saved settings when opening the next window of the same type. Just like it does currently for graphs. This should be done for all new windows (from viewer) like View Historical Data, and Upcoming Dividend Dates too.

Remove ETFs and Market Sectors from the Stock Viewer
Remove the ETF's and Market Sectors from the Stock Viewer. They already have a separate Viewer to select these if they want to. For me, the Stock Viewer should just list stocks, not ETF, etc. Today's viewer has mostly ETF's and you have to scroll down to start looking for stocks.
Thank you,

Industry distortion due to 1 high priced thinly traded stock
This seems cuckoo: On 9/28/2015 the market was down, but the REIT (Mortgage) Industry was up solely because of 1 stock, DVLN ($5,480/share) had a trade volume of 3 shares, up $180! 95% of the REIT (Mortgage) stocks were down, yet astonishingly the entire Industry was up because DVLN's price change ($ Change) was up $180 and it exceeded the total price changes of all 59 stocks in this Industry. This is nuts! Why should 1 stock, thinly traded & over priced, have so much influence over an entire industry? It is a distortion of the Industry. Is there a…

Viewer - Recommandation - How many days
It would be very interesting to have a colomn, just beside the recomandation colomn, in this colomn you should indicate the number of days that this recomandation has been set, example 0:today, 1=1 day ago, and so on... So if I see 5 stocks in my watchlist that are set to "B" and beside I see the number of days, so for me a stock with a brand new "B", ( 0 days or 1 days ) would be more interresting for me to buy, than other stocks that are already in "B" recommandation since several days.

Color code values for RT (or RS, RV, VST etc) in Unisearch results Viewer
Can VV allow the color coding of values, like the RT, in the unisearch results' spreadsheet? Finviz.com and InvestTools has this feature, but their selected groups are not customizable. With VV, we can run a search on whatever watchlist we choose, and display 13 weeks of values on the spreadsheet, but can't readily see changes because we can't color code the RT values. Red, green, and yellow would be great color options.

Custom text field
Allow users to create a text field. We choose the heading text and for each entry, we get to enter the text. This could be 'SOR' for source of the recommendation. In the field we could enter 'Tom', 'VV', 'Myself', etc... The custom field would support everyone's different needs.

Move the Business Description back near the top of the "Full Analysis" or separately retrieve it
Frequently retrieve a "Full Stock Analysis" just to see what a company does - particularly ETFs to determine leverage involved (2x,3x). Consider separate retrieve for business description or put it back near the top of the Full Analysis.

commas
In the various viewers, please add commas to any dollar amounts that are greater than 1,000, such as sales and market caps. It's very hard to review the numbers, esp if one is spanning quickly, when numbers in the millions and billions have no comma separators. Also for these large numbers, there is no need to show decimals.
Also, for indexes above about 1,000, please use commas as well.
Thanks!
Dan
