  1. I would like to write a real stock screen, many require that you can compare annualized or past quarterly returns over periods of time and filter by those compared to S&P500, DJX, etc...

    Example:
Filter 1: show me 3 Year annualized Return over S&P 500
    AND
Filter 2: show me stocks which have 5 years annualized return over S&P 500
    AND
Filter 3: show me stocks which have 10 years annualized return over S&P500
    AND
    ETC...

  2. Can VV create the formula described below on a VV graph?
(from Money Morning ad) as this looks like something VV should offer their subscribers

The secret behind the X all comes down to a formula...
    Here it is.
You take the number of periods for the stock, you subtract the number of periods since that stock hit its highest high – you then divide that by the number of periods again.
And finally, you multiply that answer by 100.

That's simply the adjustable window of time the formula uses to determine the strength of both momentum and gravity.

    So…

  3. The Thomson Reuters/Future Super Australia Fossil Free Index and the Thomson Reuters/Future Super Australia Sustainable Leaders Index have been designed to give investors improved transparency around ASX-listed companies’ sustainability credentials. These would be a good addition to Vector Vest. Ideally as a figure in a column or a search filter so that high/low scores can be evaluated as a fundamental indicator.

  4. I would like to be able to create a custom field which can compare the RT of a particular equity to the RT of an index (e.g SPX). It would also be nice to be able to use this calcualted variable in the portfolio section for stop loss/gain purposes.

  5. Need a way to identify Volatility using the high and low prices and not just closing prices.

  6. The present "x" on the exchange code does not differentiate between stocks that have "real" options and those whose options are useless. Stocks having weekly options are almost always liquid and have good open interest and high volume. I always prefer to do weekly covered calls.

  7. Let's specify a PINK SHEET stock due to the implied volatility that may take place on the stock. Today NHTC dropped almost 50% in a thirty minute period with NO news events listed. Labeling a stock as a "pink sheet" stock means buyer beware....

  8. Provide capability to reference past data of indicators to create new ones..ex. RT - RT(-5) to see how much RT has changed over last 5 days. This would enable me to see how fast RT has changed over last 5 days compared to other stocks. I could also do it with VST to see who is changing up or down the fastest...could do it for 10 days view, etc.

  9. When building custom field, allow day specific parameters (such as price, volume) to be used in the formula. Example: UniSearch 'Small Fry', ability to define a custom field based on current-actual-price divided by original-date/time-price. The original-date/time-price is an existing field in the displayed result already.

  10. A mini chart as a column. It would be a simple line graph of the stock's closing price showing performance for a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. This would eliminate the need to leave a watchlist to see a stock's performance, unless the mini graph revealed a price trend that was of interest to you.

  11. so that we can add a parameter of VVC movingaverage in the Unisearch tool to build a strategy search not only the individual stock has the moving average but the VVC also has it in the strategy builder. it better we can create a weighted moving average(WMA) of VVC.including adjustable days.

  12. Enable the custom field builder to calculate the difference between two custon moving averages. For example MA-RT(5) - MA-RT(15) = Difference. I want to be able to test that difference value.

  13. ROE is offered by other providers. It is a long term metric. Is there a reason VV can not offer ROE? Thanks. JWG

  14. Develop a column that allows the VST number to be posted as a constant so that one see if the VST has risen or droped since being placed in a watchlist. This would be similar to the TRKPRICE and the PRICE. I can see immediately if a stock has risen or dropped by looking at these two columns. I would like the same convenient quick check on the VST columns.

  16. I would like to be able to get access to the "S&P Earnings VV" displayed in the Market Climate graph. I want to use this parameter in Unisearch so that I could automate a search when this value is above or below 1.0.
    Thank you

  18. This would be equivalent to a "second derivative " of Rt - ie RT2. Hopefully it will provide a more dynamic forward looking measure of relative timing

  20. This would make "Range" a much more valuable search parameter since it would provide relative volatility regardless of the price of the stock.
