Drawing Tools Disappear
When I open a stock chart, and go to Graph View (see #1), and the FULL SCREEN (see #2), I lose the Drawing Tools. They should continue to appear when in full screen mode. See attached Beta01.

Thanks for your feedback. We plan on supporting the VectorVest 7 platform for the foreseeable future. I expect as we build all the functionality from VectorVest 7 into the new platform, you'll come to love that as well, but VectorVest 7 will be available for a very long time.

Full Graph View
Graph Size and Layout Persistence: The default height of stock graphs appears too flat, making them difficult to read. Any manual vertical adjustments made to the graph size—whether for the stock chart or its parameters—are not retained after navigating away from the page. These customized sizes should be saved as part of a user template and automatically applied across all stock graphs.
Graph Time Period Defaults: The time period for graphs always defaults to 1Y. User-selected timeframes (e.g., 1D, 2D, etc.) should be saved within a user template to persist across sessions.
Excessive Top-Screen Space: There is too much unused…

Stock list bleeds into vertical partition when selected and graph opens
Looking at ruler stocks as an example, when the graph is viewed on the right side, the last shown column on the right side of the vertical partition bleeds into the vertical separation bar. This happens using a phone as well.

First Log-In Experience
I really liked the Educational aspect of this web based app, I believe it describes the information contained in the VV system very accurately VST, RT,RV..ect, made it quick and easy to find.
But then when I visited the charting section I found it very difficult to navigate and understand, it was even difficult to draw a line of support then edit it, move it. As we progress through the VV system of investing i think the charting is a really important aspect of investing, identifying trend visually through price action.
I personally likes the idea of The Tradingview style…3 votesThanks for the feedback Jason. We are looking to improve the charting beyond where it is right now. I feel confident that when we are finished it will be fast, powerful, and user friendly.

Sorry Unimpressed!
Beta is too basic and misleading versus the Home Page in VV7. VV prides itself on keeping subscribers on the right side of the Market, yet the June 6 version promotes it's safe to buy and it also cautions Market is toppy with downside risk outweighs potential upside!?! I also wonder why the VVC, as a composite of the the other exchanges, has a lower average than all three other exchanges...shouldn't it be in the middle somewhere!? Oh well, so far unimpressed!

RELIABILITY
VV7 down again.

RELIABILITY
1st thing is to stop having data failures where indexes go to 0 and then back up.
TODAY VV7 is down and it is 8:40.

Portfolios
The create portfolio button does not work. It just shows a message about paper portfolios.

Suggestions for Improving the Stock List and Graph Display Interface (Watchlists, Portfolios, Searches)
Preserve Column Widths: When selecting a stock to view its graph in the right panel, any previously adjusted column widths in the layout are reset to default. These custom widths should be preserved to maintain a consistent user experience.
Enable Sidebar Minimization: Add the ability to minimize the second panel from the left, allowing more screen space for the graph or other relevant content.
Enhanced Graph Viewing for Efficiency: It is highly recommended to display the full-featured graph—including all settings—directly in the right panel. The graph should be resizable, enabling users to efficiently view one stock after another without navigating…

Expecting an equal or better product
The new VectorVest Successful Investor product should retain all the core functionality, design, and user experience of the current software, which offers essential and efficient tools for managing my portfolios — one of the key reasons I subscribe to VectorVest. While new features and enhancements are certainly appreciated, the current Beta version of the new product falls significantly short in multiple areas compared to the original.
1 voteThanks for sharing this—it’s clear you’re a long-time user who relies on the full power of VectorVest, especially for portfolio management.
The first phase of the new web app is focused on helping newer users build confidence with the fundamentals of the VectorVest system: what to buy, when to buy, and when to sell. To support that, we made intentional decisions to simplify the experience and limit advanced tools, knowing that more complexity will be reintroduced over time.
This first phase isn’t meant to replace the existing software, but to serve as a foundation. Future phases of the web app will expand to include more of the core functionality, design depth, and efficient tools that experienced users like you count on.
