Thanks for the great question! Right now, we’ve included a focused set of curated searches in the new platform to help newer users learn the fundamentals of the VectorVest system without feeling overwhelmed. This approach is rooted in our research showing that too many options early on can lead to confusion and hesitation.
That said, we absolutely understand the value of the broader VV7 search library and the power of creating custom searches, especially for experienced investors. We’re planning to bring those capabilities back in the next tier of the web app, designed specifically for users who are ready for more advanced tools and greater flexibility.

From Home screen, clicking on any of the three searches does not work.
Clicking on the searches does not do anything.
To see the details of searches you have to go to Stock Research and then Searches.3 votesThank you for pointing out this bug. It will be resolved in an upcoming update.

advance market timing - PW column
- provide a pop up for description when a cursor touches column heading, rather than leaving the page to obtain description
3 votesThank you for the feedback Atanee and I agree. All of the information/education that we have currently opening on new tabs will open in a sidebar/drawer or a tooltip. This update is coming soon and will be available in an upcoming build of the app.

Graph scaling needs to be fixed they are to flat. Just need one crosshair. Indicator windows need to stay at size I set them .
Graph scaling needs to be fixed it is to flat. One crosshair is all that is needed. The multiple crosshairs is just annoying here and in VV 7. The indicator windows once resized need to stay that way and not revert back on next graph when looking at multiple charts in a list.
3 votesThanks for this detailed feedback, it’s really helpful as we continue refining the charting experience.
You’re absolutely right on a few key points. We're already working on adjusting the graph layout to better use screen space, especially on smaller displays. That includes improving scaling so charts don’t appear too flat, and we agree that a single crosshair would provide a cleaner, less distracting experience, we're reviewing how best to implement that.
Also, your point about indicator window sizing is well taken. Keeping those settings consistent as you move through a list of charts is important, and it's something we're actively looking into as part of our chart customization improvements.
Thanks again for taking the time to share this, it helps guide exactly where we focus next. If there are any other small frustrations or must-haves in your charting workflow, we’d love to hear them.

Web App Beta Market Timing
• Good to have as an add -in to the current display to complement what is already there; the current Color Guard, and Market Timing are quite informative as they
• Perhaps the new display can be added on the side of the current color guard display from where we can click to access the rest of that system.
• The When to Buy guideline quickly and easily helps see the best action to take, particularly for new users, and again, would be great as an add-in
• Nice transition to the What to Buy display, as long as users…3 votes

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the Market Timing experience in the web app beta. It’s clear you’ve spent time with both platforms, and we truly appreciate your detailed perspective.
You're absolutely right, the Color Guard and Market Timing tools in VV7 are powerful and informative, and your idea to integrate the new design alongside those tools is well noted. Many of the decisions in this first tier were made intentionally to make the VectorVest system easier to learn for users who are new to our methodology, even if they have experience investing elsewhere.
This initial tier is focused on guiding users through “When to Buy, What to Buy, and When to Sell” using a simplified layout that supports onboarding and confidence-building. But we want to reassure you that none of the advanced capabilities you know and love from VV7 are going away, they're simply being…

performance
In the different searches, new feature of "performance" is available. I like it, but it does not specify the number of stocks in the different time performance graph. Would also be nice to select the top "x" of the search

New Chart on market depth
You can use all the indicators you want but basically for a stock to go up you need more buyers than sellers and visa versa, I'd like to see a chart that either during the day or at end of day monitors no of buyers and volume against no of sellers and volume. Allow the selection of how many levels and maybe a calculation between no and volume to determine on average if the levels have small or large parcels. e.g. 6 buyers volume 120 so average parcel is 20 shares.

VV indicators
Display a stock based list of recently rising/falling VST, RT, RS, RV, CI indicators. Configured for short/long term timeframes.
Provide same for own watchlists.
Maybe enable a buy/sell/hold signal based on individuals configuration.
All this is available now but clunky to get to.3 votes -

Not enough detail in current version to make a meaningful comment.
Not enough detail in current version to make a meaningful comment. I'm more about functionality like configuring panels to display how I trade, then putting a screen together of those panels. The current home tab kinda does this. Examples of good web layouts can be seen thru many websites like the latest from CMC Markets.

Don't overdo the color card wisdom
Comparing today's May 20,2025
VV7 with 2 ticks into the right tell to buy safe undervalued stocks etc.
Beta tells get your shopping list ready
VVC is the same (71.01)
One of the systems likely "lies", as what to do is different. Meaning, it's either OK to buy or just get ready with the shopping list. I don't see how the 2 recommendations can mean the same.3 votes -
when to sell
In the landing screen when to buy gets yo some useful searches which is great.
In the same screen when to sell gets you no searches, but just a brief tutorial on stop loss. Let me suggest that when to sell will have some short selling ideas.3 votesThanks for the thoughtful suggestion!
You’re right to point out the difference between the “When to Buy” and “When to Sell” experiences. This is intentional, at least at this foundational tier, where we prioritize prudent guidance focused on using stop prices to manage downside risk. Our research shows that many newer VectorVest users are still building confidence with the system, and introducing more aggressive tactics like short selling too early can increase complexity and anxiety, which we aim to minimize at this stage.
That said, your suggestion aligns well with how we envision expanding guidance in higher tiers. As users grow in confidence and skill, we plan to introduce access to more advanced strategies, including shorting, contra ETFs, and other techniques suited for downturns. These will be driven by more assertive systems and backed by education to help users apply them effectively without being overwhelmed.
We’d love to learn more…

Cannot re-order graph panes or not intuitive
VV7 provides a way to re-order graph panes. This doesn't appear to be possible in beta. Also, where is the market timing graph and how can I look at BSR, MTI, etc?

I would like to see Keltner Channels added to the technical indicators on charts. It is a tremendous indicator .
a tremendous indicator for determining short term signals. works well for selling covered calls, or cash secured puts.

Remove Redundant Section Below the Graph on sidebar
Remove Redundant Section Below the Graph: Eliminate the section beneath the graph that currently shows values like Value, Stop Price, VST, RV, RS, and RT. These metrics are already available in the layout on the left and can be relocated there if needed. EPS is already integrated into the full graph and does not require duplication.

In "My Portfolios" I can't see all the performance data for the tickers in a specific portfolio. There needs to be a Maximize button to expa
Portfolio needs a maximize button to expand the view of individual stocks in a portfolio which would also hide the list of portfolios to free up screen space.

In the Search results grid, it would be nice to see columns for the Index and if it has Options.
When doing a search for Ruler Stocks, in the title headers, it would be nice to see what Index and if there are options available, similar to the current search columns.
