2. provide a "Status" for all ideas submitted

   There is only a partial tally of the the total ideas submitted in the "Status" drop-down list.

   I counted 331 in that list that actually have a status but well over 2000 in the category list to the left.

   In short not all ideas appear to have been considered, reviewed, implemented or closed.

   A status indicator of all ideas submitted would help both the user and VectorVest by being able to quickly check the status of existing ideas and to prevent inputting ideas that already have a status.

   Also provide the status in each idea that correlates with the status drop-down list where a person can see how each idea is being, or has been, handled as they search ideas and look thru existing ideas, without having to go to the status drop-down list.

   In Protrader we can only see the MACD crossing above the signal line in the past 5 days, however it would be of great value if we could set "MACD currently crossed above the signal line", no matter when it happend in the past.

5. add a high quality Trading Journal - in a tab of it's own

   A quality Trading Journal should naturally be included within VectorVest and would add a wealth of information and feedback by having the ability to analyze trades in many ways as well as understanding what is working out well in VectorVest to ultimately improve as a trader/investor.

   Please review existing fee-based online Trading Journals and what they offer such as Trademetria.com, Tradersync.com, Tradervue.com and Edgewonk.com. and add a similar product with the best features into VectorVest.

   Top well-known traders universally emphasize keeping a journal of trades to both succeed as a trader and continually improve, but nothing like that exists in VectorVest and would only add to VectorVest core mission of helping investors/traders succeed.

   Just writing trades down with notes in a spreadsheet or paper journal is old-school and limited, but instead having trade data analyzed and the ability to visually see winning/losing actions, habits and trading results trending would add immense value to VectorVest.

   Because a quality journal should be both customizable and have many built-in logical data input fields a separate VectorVest tab is suggested or be logically placed as its own selection in an existing tab such as Viewers or Views tab.

   The ability to enter trades manually or connect to a third-party broker should be optional just as the above-mentioned online Trading Journals offer as well as other features they offer.

   Have the ability to review and analyze trading results by things like;
   Were the VectorVest signals such as Primary Wave, Confirmed Calls and DEW etc. up or down at the time the trade was opened and when closed, and which signal was followed or were any followed or considered for the trade?
   Which uni-search was used, if any?
   Was a specific system followed or not followed?
   Were trading rules broken and if so how?
   What was the reason for selling - fear, greed or rule adherence? etc.
   Was a stop loss used or not used? How was a stop loss implemented, by percent or dollar amount?
   What type of buy and sell orders were used?

   Have the option of analyzing a closed trade and if it would have changed results if bought and sold following each of the different VectorVest signals.
   What was the VectorVest ratings analysis, RT, VST, RV, CI etc. at the time the trade was opened and when closed.
   What was the rating of the industry and sector at the time of the trade when opened and closed?

   This is only a small list of many possible items and fields that over time could be extremely valuable to a trader/investors success and ultimately an added reason to keep using VectorVest.

   Please review the above mentioned Trading Journals and consider adding this valuable tool as a VectorVest improvement.

6. How to improve the VV website and materials by adding more women!

   I think I've been over every page I think of your site.

   It is well done. Congratulations. I've done my share of programming, and your site is rich and well integrated.

   However, when it comes to promotional/marketing materials, you ONLY have men! They represent diverse cultures, which is good. But NO women?
   Surely you realize that we trade, too. Do you have no usable testimonials from women?

   In this day and age, I find it appalling that you don't integrate women into your marketing.

   Your staffing is a tiny bit better. I see 2 women on the education team (of 13, or 18%). I get a weekly write-up from a woman, one of the women in the photo.

   Your staff always tells me about a 'female Friday' presentation, "What can We Learn from Women in Finance?" Personally, I think that kind of material is silly. I want to learn from all people in finance. This reminds me of Kim Kiyosaki and her "women only" seminars...she just removed 49% of the population (per 2010 census) from her marketing. And no, nothing in it was only for women. Money is gender biased.

   Why aren't there any women in the daily teaching rotation of your many presentations? If 26% of investors in the market are women (says Mar 2019 survey, pre-pandemic), shouldn't your presentations be led by women in something close to that percentage? There are more women than men in the country, according to the Census, and women are obviously your clients.
   I hear about them asking questions in the presentations.

   Please improve your numbers.

   And no, I'm not a feminist. I live and breathe marketing and money.

8. Make sure Chrome is usable in the Training Tab

   FYI... I just finished an online chat with Adam from VV. I was trying to get a better understanding as to what the Climate chart was suppose to be showing me so I went to the Training tab in VV. The Navigation Training Series wouldn't open neither would any other link on the page.

   Adam suggested I try another browser like Firefox. I told him that my Google Chrome browser was very popular in Canada and their IT folks should should make the links workable on Chrome. He said it was a known issue. I then suggested that a notation should be put on the Training Tab page to make your clients aware of this short coming and suggest using Firefox or Edge as Adam suggested to me.

   Perhaps you could add this to your next management meeting?

9. I would like to be able to set an alert to be sent to my phone when the Color Guard changes from yellow to green.

   When the Color Guard changes from Yellow to Green, this is a signal in many of the VectorVest Trading Systems that market conditions are favorable to buy stocks. It would be great if I could get an alert on my phone when the yellow to green change occurs, so I don't have to regularly check the software to see if it's time to buy stocks. Thanks!

11. Some traders prefer selling upon reaching Gain level instead of using Stops.

    Allow users to select emphasis on Stops, Gains or priorities between Stop and Gain levels reached including choice of Alerts for each. I have lost more potential gains in the past using stops.

14. Canadian Database Improvements:

    There many quality companies and ETFs are listed on the Neo Exchange in Canada, but not covered in VectorVest Canada database. For examples, the US ARK ETFs are also traded in Canada under Emerge ARK ETFs in Canadian Dollar.
    I trade some of those companies & ETFs in my Canadian Portfolios but I could manage them in Portfolio Manager or backtest , analyze, etc.
    Please consider adding the Neo Exchange listing, they will be of great benefit to Canadian subscribers.

16. Allow Access to a market from both mobile and desktop clients at the same time

    I worked for a software development company for several years. We produced an enterprise level core business software program called Q360. I'm very familiar with the development process and the use of both web and desktop clients to access the data. I would like to suggest that you allow access to a single market like the USA from both mobile and desktop devices at the same time. I find it frustrating and limiting that when I access a market with my phone the desktop version logs me out. I would like to have both working at the same time. Thanks for considering this common approach that's taken by many other developers.

17. stop using Internet Explorer! there has to be a more modern and accurate backbone than IE.

    Internet Explorer is dated and doesn't work well with macs. Look at Apple stock, people use Mac's and Apple products, and the VV software isn't very compatible.

18. Can the price alert function on the mobile app be installed in the desk top software.

    this is a price alert, example a stock breaks out at 100 and an alert is sent email. this is available on the mobile app but not on the v vest
