  2. Alter the dividend viewer list so that the stock symbols(only, sans the company names) of the stocks going ex dividend on a specific day, can be exported into a watchlist, or to the stock viewer for evaluation. As of now the list can only be copied. They require typing
to get the individual symbols into the screen

  4. I watch the top VST stock list as do many I am sure. It would be nice to have a column with an arrow indicating which stocks are moving up and which are moving down on the list.

  5. UK Regulators require that only a licenced individual can give a "recommendation". At user group meetings, no licenced individual is present.

To comply with Law , change the word "Recommendation" to "Rating" and "REC" to "RAT" throughout the program.

  6. It would be very interesting to have a colomn, just beside the recomandation colomn, in this colomn you should indicate the number of days that this recomandation has been set, example 0:today, 1=1 day ago, and so on... So if I see 5 stocks in my watchlist that are set to "B" and beside I see the number of days, so for me a stock with a brand new "B", ( 0 days or 1 days ) would be more interresting for me to buy, than other stocks that are already in "B" recommandation since several days.

  7. Frequently retrieve a "Full Stock Analysis" just to see what a company does - particularly ETFs to determine leverage involved (2x,3x). Consider separate retrieve for business description or put it back near the top of the Full Analysis.

  8. In the various viewers, please add commas to any dollar amounts that are greater than 1,000, such as sales and market caps. It's very hard to review the numbers, esp if one is spanning quickly, when numbers in the millions and billions have no comma separators. Also for these large numbers, there is no need to show decimals.

Also, for indexes above about 1,000, please use commas as well.

    Thanks!

    Dan

  11. Logically, the Market Cap of an industry must be the sum of the Market Caps of the companies making up the industry. Therefore, a weighted average price/share times the total shares of all companies in the industry is needed to that Mkt Cap = Price x Shares works at the industry level.

As can be seen in the attachments, for Industry stats VectorVest Australia (haven't checked VV USA) multiplies the simple average of Price/Share times the simple average of Shares/Company which results in the "Mkt Cap" being a meaningless number.

    This should be fixed.

  13. Sequential numbering of rows (like a spreadsheet) would help in quickly selecting "top 10" or "20" or selecting every X-th stock in a cherry-pick without resorting to counting every time!

  14. When using stock viewer it would be good to see up, down or even arrows to show how a particular piece of data compared to yesterday or last week ie if you want to compare VST data arrange VST for all stocks in descending order then for each stock it shows if VST is going up or down compared to yesterday or last week. Likewise all other colums

  15. Add the BSR rating to the industry and sector viewer pages and also add this as a field for use in Unisearch. This would allow additional flexibility in using industry/sector in selecting stocks.

  18. In reviewing a list of stocks in the viewer if there was an option on drop-down menu where the stock could be highlighted on the list. (one that is liked for potential sale when buy signal is showing.)

  19. Provide a link from the stock search viewer to the Uni-search field so that we can see where the stock we are interested in,appears in the various strategies.

  20. As was done with ETFs, divide the CEFs into categories - growth, muni, fixed income, preferred, bond etc. Add NAV or discount/premium to NAV in (RV col?). Use percent leverage (or some facsimile) in the (RS col?). A quality number/ranking (esp for bomds) as a function of AAA, AAb, B etc rated holdings perhaps in the (EY col?). More to come ... we'll see. No revolution required but evolution would be very nice.
