Allow the graph to be extended forward by a month or so.
Allow the graph to be extended forward by a month or so such that you can then trend any parameter and come up with potential targets. In other words allow on the right side of the graph area for projections. Just assure the x axis is consistent.

It would be nice to be able to sign in to VectorVest once and be able to switch back and forth between Canada and the U.S.
It would be great if we did not have to sign into VectorVest Canada and complete what we wanted to do there. Then Sign into VectorVest U.S. and do our thing there. If we could just sign in once and switch back and forth between Canada and the U.S. it would be great.

equity draw down as a stop
To expand on the http://feedback.vectorvest.com/forums/35189-vectorvest-7/suggestions/2558843-the-ability-to-superimpose-a-graph-of-the-vvc-upo idea: give us the ability to use a user-defined parabolic stop on the equity curve in back-testing and portfolio as the basis for discontinuing a current strategy IN ADDITION TO existing stop criteria.

simple alerts
I was a market maker on the New York options floor. They had a system you could employ on a chart page. They had a horizontal curser you move up and down to set an alert at any price you wanted. It would flash on the screen or a bell would go off letting you know the stock traded through the price you set. This was one of the best tools that everyone took advantage of. I have never seen it on any other program. I am sure it is simple to put in your program. George

QUICKLY improve the stock list in the WELCOME SCREEN.
Put the stocks in a table so that the commands GRAPH ALL and ADD TO WATCHLIST (and others) would be available.

Fix portofolio bugs
- when changing portfolio setting from manual to automatic a long error message is received that an SQL command was missing.
- If you try to purchase a security in a portifolio that is set to automatic you get a selection screen. If you select post the transaction and stay in automatic mode you get an error message.

I would like
I would like to see more testing of the index ETFs both bullish and contra ETFs using the GLB/RT Kicker combo. Include in the comparison leveraged versus non leveraged funds. Also include the best aggressive stop criteria and the best conservative stop criteria to minimize the draw down while obtaining a reasonable return.

I think you should have Canadian Colorguard video every night like the US version.

Add ARR/MDD column to the BackTester results
Adding a column to the BackTester showing the ratio of the Annual Rate of Return to the Max Draw Down allows an investor to compare different strategies relative upside and downside potentials with this one number.

Add Benchmark Performance (S&P500) column to the BackTester results
Performance of a given idea/strategy is more useful when compared to a benchmark so you can show that your approach will be more rewarding than simply indexing the S&P500.

Create Custom Timing
Ability to use VV fields to create own custom timing based on VVC.
Could be a tool that can be automatically applied in the AutoTester to backtest ideas.
I.e. create your own Market TIming (that you can save), using available fields & rules, to create Long, Short and Neutral signals that you can backtest and use in teh future.
If ever created, you could also run a competition for users to run their timing system on backtests and future to explore ideas and timing that suits different types of users.22 votes
