ability to rerun the derby for at any point in the day
It would be great to be have a slide bar on the derby that would enable you to rerun the derby from any point to any point.. Like rerunning a horse race you can see the strategies jockying for position. If you put a vvc graph there also you could examine the race in relationship to a highlighted mark on the vvc graph.

Limit short searches in Derby to stocks which are shortable. Most of them are not.
Most of the short searches I see in VectorVest create lists of stocks to short, and when you go to actually short them, they are not available. Short searches with a minimum size of 100K average volume are likely to generate lots of stock candidates which are too illiquid to short, Let us limit which searches are available to Derby so we can be sure the ones there generate higher volume stocks which are more likely to return lists of stocks which are actually shortable.

Add Derby Option for Free For Real-Time Users of 2+ Years!! Loyalty Pays!!
Anyone who has been a loyal subscriber for a period of 2+ years should begin to be rewarded. I have looked at other options in lieu of VV and have come upon some ideas that may be better suited and less expensive. How about rewarding loyalty??

Display more historical data in the Derby Tote Board
Right now, the historical data in the derby only goes back to Aug. 18th. I'd like to see it go back further.

Global quickfolio settings should be used for Derby generated quickfolio defaults.
Setting the default quickfolio settings (margin req, investment amounts, commission, etc) in the main program settings does not carry over to the quickfolios you can generate from the Derby tool.

When creating a portfolio from a Derby it should reflect current price NOT opening price
When you create a portfolio from a Derby, it uses the opening price as the purchase price, it should use the price when you actually create the portfolio.

Allow Derby entry time to be 10:00 or 10:30
Rather than simply 'market open' or 'market close' , it would be helpful to have a variable time input. The derby could then correlated to the "10:00 a.m. Rule"

Add tiptool window to all searches section of derby tool specifying the strategy group
In unisearch by hovering your cursor over the strategy a tip tool window will appear and show the group the search is attached to. Duplicating this in derby will help others will show what strategy types are performing well

historic testing of real time derby
Create the ability to see which startegy was the derby winner at any time of day on any specific day, so that it can be used for hsitoricl testing. This is necessary for back testing trading strategies that would be used during the day. Currently there is only an ability to conduct historic testing based on Derby winners at the market close.

Add "Modified" Calmar Ratio (Total % G/L divided by Max Drawdown) column to the Tote Board.
The Calmar Ratio is an extremely useful statistic in analyzing Risk/Reward in a trading strategy. Why not add a "modified" Calmar Ratio as a column on the Toteboard. It would be a great way to sort strategies and would be very meaningful for many of us in determining good strategies to trade.

provide global change to min price and volume req'ts for Derby searches (100K volume is too small)
The purchases of $1.00 stocks with 100K daily volume are very limited (large order moves the market). Ability to change min price/volume of ALL Derby stocks would support larger portfolios.

EXPLAIN FULLY, HOW YOU ARRIVE AT YOUR % GAINS IN THE DERBY ANALYSIS EACH DAY
i come close to your reported gains, like jailbreak, no etf's on 2/25, starting at close on 2/12, but ONLY IF i purchase the same number of SHARES for each of the top 10 stocks selected using UNISEARCH JAILBREAK, NO ETF strategy - and hold the same stocks that i started with for the entire period. when i try to use the strategy, starting on any one day, purchasing the same dollar amount for each of the stocks, i get entirely different (much worse) results. one of your tech support people told me that you trade daily to get these…

Split tote board into bullish and bearish searches
Realtime Derby Great improvement w/ tote board. Is it possible in the future to have an option to split into bearish and bullish searches (like a split view) in tote board? It is helpful for those of us who don't short? Thanks.
