  1. The "Riding the Wave" portfolio advisory was abandoned last year. I was told it would be reformulated and reintroduced. Please do so.

    Please reformulate and reintroduce the "Riding the Wave" portfolio advisory. This is the only advisory that is meaningful for my strategy as a mixture of 3 ETF funds (long or short): Dow, NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500. While the other portfolios may appeal to many subscribers, they lose meaning since they remain "long" for such a long time.

  3. why is there no summary info for Intraday timing since 2010 ? it would certainly help to see it!

    Currently the summary info stops at year 2010... what happened after that ?

  4. Transitions list

    It seems that "getting in early" on various market transitions/reversals can be a rewarding experience. Vector Vest follows several market timing indicators. It might be useful to generate a list of searches which historically have worked well if used at specific transitions. I envision one list for C/Up to C/Dn, another for C/Dn to C/Up, DEW up, etc. Perhaps a list of 5 or so searches for each transition case. It might also be useful to include MACD transitions on the Market Timing Graph. Vector Vest has the staff required to pursue this project. How about it?

  5. Add an explanation of how the recommendations are made

    I understand that the buy, sell and hold recommendations are based on the relationship of the stock price and its level to the stop price. I don't fully understand the recommendations from buy to hold and hold to buy. I believe that they are based on the next day's open, but I'm not sure.

  6. I would like additional Sectors listed under the FTSE/JSE Watchlist Tab.

    I am a South African VV user and was recently very pleased to find the addition of Sectors listed under the FTSE/JSE Watchlist Tab. However, I was equally disappointed to find that the list was incomplete extending only as far as the Industrials Sector. Can this list please be extended to cover all the JSE Sectors? Also, could the JSE code be included in the Sector description for clarity – for example ‘ALSI 40 (J200)’?

  7. Potfolio back test shows same stock of bse and nse

    When back test done, if the stock listed in bse and nse, same stocks is selected from both nse and bse. it should take only one exchange. in simple avoid adding same scrip twice in back test search. today when I did one test I found sks micro selected both from bse and nse out of 10 stocks

    can we search stock symbols by typing 2-3 starting letters of company and then select the sysmbol to save time

  9. Can we have seperate search folder for vector vest RT,RVS, top 5 search options.

    Unisearch has too many search option, I spent 3 hours, could not which one gives best result. can we have Vector vest RT,RVS,MTI search options in separate folder. Also can we have option to search stocks from index like bse midcap, small cap so that search is only quality stocks only.

  10. Is it possible to add years 2007 & 2008 to the "Midas Touch" watchlist?

    Since these were very bad years it would be nice to see what a backtest would look like using the Midas Touch watchlist for these years. Today the watchlist only shows stocks back through 2009.

It would also be useful to see how many positions in the ranking a given industry or sector has risen or fallen over a user specified number of days. That would give a sense of which sectors/industries are rotating in of out of favor. Currently we can see deltas in the rt but the position changes would be more useful.

  18. Print Ikon should offer two options: one: Print the whole list? Two: Print only highlighted items

    Improve all print options used in System 7 . . . Presently, print options are extremely convoluted, and do not offer easy methods to print or save files using System 7.
