  2. Freeze columns in Stock Viewer

    With excel, columns and rows can be frozen so that as I use the scroll bars the columns/rows that are frozen stay on the display.

    To use this feature in VectorVest 7, right-click on the Viewer and select Layout…

    Any column that you set in front of the -———————- column will be frozen.

    This feature is included in VectorVest 7. Just right-click on a stock in Portfolios and one of the options in the list is “View Full Stock Analysis.”

  4. There is a sorting error in Real TIme searches!!

    The Real TIME search will not list the stocks in an ascending order when sorted by VSR*GPE/RT Asc!! There are zero values interspersed throughout the list given. I keep being told that I cannot resort by a "computed value". I don't ask to resort.... but to have the stocks arranged the way they are supposed to be in the first place!

    This issue has been resolved and will be part of our next planned release at the first of the year

  6. Do not delete VV6 for VV7

    VV6 has some links like VV University that are not yet available in VV7. So keep VV6 too. You may use both at the same time as needed. .

    Don’t worry, VectorVest Online isn’t going anywhere in the near future. You are free to use VectorVest Online along with VectorVest 7.

    We are working to bring all the features from VectorVest Online into VectorVest 7, as well as many all-new features.

    Both MACD and DPO Crossovers are now available in VectorVest 7 with ProTrader.

    They can be accessed by adding the Price (Split Adjusted) Parameter to a Search. Look in the ProTrader section in the Operators list.

    RSI is available in graphs under Add Parameter – Technical Analysis.

    It is also available as a Unisearch parameter with the ProTrader add-on.

  16. Add dollar & % Change in price from yestday on graphs

    Right now the dollar & % change has to be manually calculated on the graphs.

    Both $ Change and % Change can be added from the Price/Volume group in the Add Parameter drop down.

  17. Clarify daily Strategy---don't use "-" between items unless to signify minus/loss! Use ";" instead.

    We have revised the Strategy text to not use dashes as separators. Thanks for the feedback.

    SMS Alerts are available in VectorVest 7.

    To setup SMS Alerts, go to Application Settings in the Tools dropdown at the top right corner of VectorVest 7. Click on the Alerts tab, and Edit one of the four available Alert Destinations. SMS is an option when setting up the Alert Destination.
