Allow dividend reinvestment in Portfolio Manager

Better yet, every time you open portfolio, provide a list of exdiv dates for your holdings, and offer them the option to put div in cash or to DRIP (purchase) div into additional shares. DRIP option would add two transactions to transaction log, the cash div and the purchase.

Currently the "Place Trade" window does not accomodate transactions involving fractional shares or shares less than 1 share. Most Dividend reinvestments involve fractional shares and removing this restriction from Portfolio Manager would allow dividend reinvestment. Thanks for your consideration.

It would seem to me that if even the model portfolios are not showing dividends being reinvested they must be inaccurate.

Right now, this has to be done manually. You have to enter every dividend payment and the reinvestment as two separate transactions. For a large portfolio with many dividend paying stocks that all pay quarterly, or monthly in some cases, this is a huge pain. Being able to check a box that would do this for you would be a huge time saver. Please do this soon! Thanks!

As a stock broker who tries to do the right thing for his clients ... this would be a huge help since many of my clients opt for Stocks with strong increasing dividends and DRIPs on those stocks. If I could show the value of these dividends after a period of 3, 5 or 10 years that would be a huge help. From the clients perspective ... Hearing it is one thing ... seeing it is entirely different. Please get this done as soon as possibile - Thanks, Jerry Nix

Adding a dividend reinvestment option to Portfolios would be extremely helpful. THis would allow us to observe the "true return" of good dividend paying stocks. I am currently adding them as a purchase for 0.01 cost, and it is a manual and time consuming process.

HELP, This would really help. I can not tell what my Portfolio profit or loss is. Example AAPL I have 115.274 shares at $524.99 or $143.84 more profit the VV shows. Fractions show on my Ipad so it is in your data base. PLEASE Help.

On my Ipad the portfolio manager shows fractions (IE .125), but VV Real Time rounds up to a full share. If you use a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIPS), most of the time you get a fraction share.
This would be very help full.
