Allow backtest to update.
Updating backtest from day to day for the same search over an extended period of time requires the recalculation of all points each time. This would save an amount of time by reducing a ten year run to a 5 day run. It would be at least 500 times faster.

If you change the timeframe of an existing backtest by adding more time to the end, then choose "Finish & Execute Manually" rather than "Finish & Rerun" you can run the test from where it left off to the new time.
For instance, if the test has been run to 1/1/2010 and you edit the test and change the end date to 1/14/2010, then choose "Finish & Execute Manually", you can move the time cursor to 1/14/2010 and click the run button to update only from 1/1 - 1/14.
Is that what you mean?

I run 15 or 20 backtests each day and update them a day at a time. This would save an extreme amouint of recalculation time.
